Come relax on the deck, or my favorite spot, inside with my feet up on the window sill. Watch the sun come up. Then it's lobster boats, kayaks, canoes and sail boats. Bald eagles, ospreys, ducks, loons and gulls fishing. If you are alert you will see red squirrels, crows, deer and perhaps a fox or a seal. You can watch the tides change. Go down on the shore and look for crabs or beach glass. Take a walk or lie in the hammock. You can watch the islands turn red as the sun sets behind the cottage and then you can watch the moon come up and the stars come out. If you can't sit still that long there is so much to do in and around Owls Head. There is a beautiful light house. Stop at the Owls Head General Store for lunch or take it with you for a picnic. Go to the Transportation Museum for the special events or just the regular displays. Shop and eat out in Rockland, Camden, Thomaston or Port Clyde. Go to the Farnsworth Museum or any of the art galeries. This is a great spot for a vacation.
