About Danny Laran

We purchased our home for our family. Nothing is more important to us then being able to spend time in a relaxed setting with our children and grandchildren. We couldn't think of a better place than Seabrook Island.

A long road trip to a wonderful vacation

I had the pleasure to be part of the PGA on Kiawah in August. Seabrook, and the Phelps were just the best neighbors and hosts. What a quaint little place with plenty of amenities and things to do. We drove down from Vermont ( i.e. the title) and found that to be little more challenging with kids than without but I wouldn't trade it for the world. If it were closer, I would visit more often. The cottage is perfect for a family to spread out. Though my daughter wasn't as fond of the loft once she realized spiders were outside her window. I now have to build a golf course outside my backyard because my son thinks everyone should have one. I agree! Our pool isn't enough anymore, it has to be a saltwater pool with waves according to my wife. I can still remember the look on her face when the dorsal fin turned out to be a dolphin instead of a shark. Priceless! If only you could combine both worlds and do it whenever you wanted for as long as you wanted. Many thanks to the good people of Seabrook from the Ducharme's in Vermont.

Great Family Vacation

Our family had a great time!! Property was clean, owner's representative was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for our family to spread out inside the property. Only negative was the number of spiders inside and outside the property (but considering the location in the trees, not totally unexpected). Seabrook Island itself was also nice. We enjoyed seeing all the deer and the ocean life...the shark on day 7 was a bit much, but amazing! Plan ahead for meals since the island is fairly secluded; the few restaurants get busy quickly in the evenings and local groceries are somewhat pricey.
