I enjoyed this vacation with my family very much. I know pictures can be deceiving but this cottage was very clean,roomy and comfortable. My granddaughter enjoyed the sand and the lake which was perfect for her. I had a few questions when we first arrived and the owner responded to our issues right away. I would like to return to this cottage again and I would recommend it. My son brought his boat and the neighbor was very helpful getting it in and out of the water. We visited Lake Michigan at Duck Lake State park and that was beautiful. One of my sons visited Muskegon one day and he enjoyed that.

We stayed at the house the week before Memorial Day and had a wonderful time. There was 6 people in our group, including 2 kids ages 1 and 3 and the grandparents. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the outside had great sand for the kids and the deck was great to sit and relax. I would definitely recommend renting the pontoon. Although the lake is not the biggest, the pontoon is in great condition and fun for the entire family. They also include a row boat and paddle boat. Fishing off the pier was fun, as my 3 year old son enjoyed reeling in his first fish off the pier. It was a nice 16 inch bass. We met the owner on the first day and he was very friendly and offered places to go in the area and fishing advice. It was nice to meet him and after the first meeting he never bothered us again. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away to a nice lake house with clean accommodations, lots of sand for kids, good bass fishing on the lake, fun water boats, and a good host.

We went up for a fall trip. There was a group of 10 of us, the guys went salmon fishing & the girls sightseeing & cruising on the pontoon. This was a nice place. There was even a vase of fresh flowers waiting for us girls. Very nice touch. We had a great time on the pontoon and on the deck overlooking the lake. What fun. My husband & I think we would like to bring up our daughter & granddaughters for a summer vacation. They would love the lake, pontoon and paddleboat. I'm sure we could get lost on the little island for a while. The house was very roomy and clean. The bedroom that looks over the lake gives you a nice night breeze! Will definitly be back, looks like alot to do around the Muskegon area. We are beachlovers!! Thanks alot!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the house in early June 2010. The house is beautiful, well maintained, clean and oh so comfortable. The set up of the house is also awesome. The large windows out to the lake offer great views all day, especially the sunrise and sunset, plus watching the kids on the beach. The house has a great deck, with BBQ, porch swing, tables, chairs, sand for the kids, fire ring, picnic table. You cant find anything better. We had our own dock and rented the pontoon boat, I recommend this. Our kids, we had three, teenagers and younger, loved it. They swam, kayaked, explored the island, etc...We stayed for two weeks, and looked at other places while we were there. You WON'T find a better place, location, or deal on the lake. If you fish the large mouth and pike, sunfish, etc...are great. We caught a ton o fish. Oh we also got great cable package, watched a little of the World Cup, this may not seem important, but we came from South America, and the kids were excited to see American TV again. Overall, AWESOME. Had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tardani and his son. Seems like a great guy and very conscientious landlord. Again, wait for my email Dan, because we are coming again, Summer 2011 Wooo Hooo.

We just spent the week at the twin lake house and had a great time! We were having trouble deciding which property to rent...but were very happy that we chose this home. The home is very clean and well maintained. The beach is clean to swim and play in. Our 2 year old niece visited and she had a great time playing with all of the toys in the sandy area and the beach area. We made good use of the pontoon boat and took early morning boat rides with coffee and sunset rides nearly everyday....very peaceful. The house is well stocked with anything one would need in the kitchen, and we loved the layout of the home to take advantage of the lake views. Our two teenagers kept busy by rowing to the island, exploring the lake area by bike and riding up to the local park to play tennis. The porch swing was also a nice touch and favorite spot on the deck. We would love to return for another visit.

We had a family vacation with the kids and grandkids, and all had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable, and clean. Yard was small, but again comfortable. Was nice to be able to see the grandkids fishing from the dock from inside the house. Even though it was cool outside, didn't keep the guys from fishing/boating and snorkeling. Not far from stores, but very quiet and serene. Went from Muskegon to Silver Lake easily.

Our family from age 7 - 85 had a great time at the cottage. The weather was perfect.
We had a great time swimming, bicycling around the lakes in the area, playing tennis at the nearby park and fishing on the lake. The pedal boat was good and the rowboat with the addition of the trolling motor was a god send. We caught numerous bass, bluegills and even captured (and released ) a turtle and some frogs.
Everyone had a great time,, especially the kids who loved it and I caught my first 2 fish ever. It was loads of fun and incredibly relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we really only needed the A/C one day-the ceiling fans kept every room nice and cool along with the breeze coming in the windows from the lake. Everything was just like the description-clean, well-maintained, accurate listing of amenities. Close to Russ' restaurant (family), Chinese restaurant, Pizza places , fast food, Meijer's grocery etc...Michigan adventure is only 10-15 minutes away for a great time. We would gladly rent this cottage again. Check it out and you will be glad that you did.
p.s. The porch swing on the deck was also a great surprise that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a fantastic experience.

We spent 4th of July week in this home. It was perfect! It was great just sitting on the dock and watching the fish and turtles swim around. The house is in excellent condition - super clean, the sand beach was a lot of fun for the kids, and the neighbors were really nice. And, the fireworks were the best we've seen in a really long time. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
