Great Vacation Week

Our family from age 7 - 85 had a great time at the cottage. The weather was perfect.
We had a great time swimming, bicycling around the lakes in the area, playing tennis at the nearby park and fishing on the lake. The pedal boat was good and the rowboat with the addition of the trolling motor was a god send. We caught numerous bass, bluegills and even captured (and released ) a turtle and some frogs.
Everyone had a great time,, especially the kids who loved it and I caught my first 2 fish ever. It was loads of fun and incredibly relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we really only needed the A/C one day-the ceiling fans kept every room nice and cool along with the breeze coming in the windows from the lake. Everything was just like the description-clean, well-maintained, accurate listing of amenities. Close to Russ' restaurant (family), Chinese restaurant, Pizza places , fast food, Meijer's grocery etc...Michigan adventure is only 10-15 minutes away for a great time. We would gladly rent this cottage again. Check it out and you will be glad that you did.
p.s. The porch swing on the deck was also a great surprise that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a fantastic experience.

We spent 4th of July week in this home. It was perfect! It was great just sitting on the dock and watching the fish and turtles swim around. The house is in excellent condition - super clean, the sand beach was a lot of fun for the kids, and the neighbors were really nice. And, the fireworks were the best we've seen in a really long time. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

I would highly recommend this cottage. It is clean, spacious, well decorated in a fishing/lake theme. The setting is perfect. Family spend time with us fishing, kids swimming, playing in the sand, paddle boating, BBQ'ing and sitting by the firepit having smores in the evenings. Even when we had rain one day the house handle visiting family and kids for dinner and games. We will be back and other family members now want to rent this for there own get-a-way. Beautiful sunsets, sunrises and skies at night!

We just returned a week or so ago from this cottage. We had a mini family reunion here. We put all the kids (only 3) in one room and both sets of parents got their own room. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The kids loved playing in the sand, exploring the island, rowing around in the rowboat, fishing, and swimming. We loved the location. Twin Lake is in an area of 4 lakes very close together. I loved finding my way around the lakes on my daily walks. We were close to Muskegon - shopping, Lake Michigan and Michigan's Adventure. We also spent some time garage saleing. Our girls loved the county park down the road as in option for swimming, playing on the playground and playing tennis. This cottage was everything we expected and more. We would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a great week!!!
