Myself and my partner were in Amsterdam for four days on a sort of second honeymoon - and this apartment was an absolute find! We were met by Peter, the apartment manager and what a nice man - he made us feel so welcome - even carrying our bags up to the apartment, nothing was too much of a trouble for him, including texting me after he'd left to let us know there was a late night supermarket just down the street (very welcome after travelling most of the afternoon to get there). And the apartment couldn't be more central. The supermarket is literally a five minute walk from your door and sells everything you need to set yourself up for a few days. We didn't need to use taxis, or even the trams - it's all on your doorstep which makes it so handy to keep popping back for something to eat or to change,or just to chill out for an hour or so before going back into the hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment is compact but has everything you could need - ideal for a couple but it would also work for a family as there's a massive sofa bed in the front room. It's very clean, minimalistic and quiet - and with views overlooking the canal it makes it just ideal. We had breakfast each day sitting on the little balcony - I totally wish I was there now!! We've holidayed in Amsterdam before but stayed at a hotel - which was lovely, but meant you felt compelled to go out at set times and for most of the day - whereas this gave us the flexibility to come and go and to cook for ourselves which made for a really inexpensive way to see the city. The apartment is extremely good value for money and we'll definitely be back!!! Oh I forgot to mention the welcome bottle of champagne and amazing chocolates - this apartment gives the personal touch that you just don't get elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was perfect for exploring central Amsterdam and was 5 min. away from our daughter's dormitory (she is studying abroad in Amsterdam). Marcos provided us with lots of helpful tips and information prior to our arrival, including some great restaurant recommendations, and, upon our arrival, we were greeted by 2 dozen roses, wine and chocolates. The apartment was sunny and bright, with a great canal view. The bedroom had blackout shades and a very comfortable bed, affording us a great nights sleep. The living room was an easy space to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped and efficiently laid out. It was a pleasure to return to the apartment each evening. We hope to return again this year.

... Très bien placé et disposant de tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un bon moment à Amsterdam. L'appartement est situé dans un quartier très calme avec vue sur les canaux, pas loin à pied des quartiers animés. Un supermarché est à 5mn de la location.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Peter avec une attention toute particulière (une bouteille de vin et du chocolat).

This is a lovely apartment to stay in: beautifully furnished, quiet and close to all the attractions of Amsterdam. We chose this appartment for its proximity to Central Station,as we wanted to make several day trips: it is a pleasant 15 minute walk to bus and rail connections, but also close to 2 metro stops if you are feeling lazy. Marcos the owner was always prompt and helpful in all our dealings with him, and I particularly enjoyed the wine, chocolates and flowers which we received on arrival. You could not do better than stay here if you want a home from home which is away from the hurly-burly of city life but handily situated for shops, restaurants and attractions.

This apartment was wonderful and in a great location, very quiet area and walking distance to all the sights in Amsterdam. Apartment is furnished to a very high standard, very clean with everything you need for a few days or longer … and to top it all, a great view looking out onto one of Amsterdam’s many canals.

Peter the apartment manager, met us at the apartment on arrival and showed us around apartment and explained everything very clearly. Peter was lovely, very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome which made us at once feel at home. Thank you Peter for all your help and arranging a wonderful visit to the opera!

Marcos the owner of apartment had very kindly organised flowers for our arrival which again was a lovely touch, meant a lot to us.

Prior to travelling I was in touch by email to both Marcos and Peter and they gave me lots of advice and tips prior to our visit which was a great help when visiting a new city for the first time.

We hope to visit Amsterdam in the future and we will for sure book this wonderful apartment again. I have already recommended apartment to my friends and will continue to do so.

The apartment is located in about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the central train station, situated in a calm and residential area. The apartment is situated in an renovated building overlooking the canal.
A shopping center and access to the rather touristy area just around the corner.

The apartment is recently renovated and very clean. It fits two people perfectly, but up to four people should be ok also. Everything is very well equiped from kitchen (microwave, some cooking basics, water kettle,...) to bathroom (hair dryer, soap, towels) to bedroom (enough duvets, linnen, ...) to livingroom (WLAN, TV, couch, books).

Both owner and manager were very helpful and nice. We had a lovely time staying there and will definitely come back!

Excellent, modern appartment in a great location in the centre of Amsterdam. Peter, who met us to let us in and show us around, was very helpful. Also was nice to arrive to a complementary bottle of wine and chocolates. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in amsterdam!

Very well located property, near the Central Station, from where you may take either train, tram or bus, or just hire a bicycle, or take the subway if you'd like to do so. Walking distance to all of Amsterdam ring if you like to walk, and very close to lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Layout of the appartment is perfect; hence all of the rooms may be used separately, as if the appartment was bigger. Most clean and tidy, and with lots of functional details, particularly in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Customer service is perfect. On arrival, every detail is given on the facilities. WIFI works perfect and is fast; there is a big and discrete TV and a DVD (with lots of CDs and videos available to be used), there is a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron with its ironing board, toaster, a washing-dishes machine, a sandwich/waffles maker and a microwave/grill convection oven. In sum, everything that you may need to feel as if you were at home. Security is at all good, and also a silent property. I would surely recommend this appartment for anyone who from time to time wants to get rid of the rigidities when staying in a hotel, further to the relatively low cost of this property, which I see it clearly worths value for money.
