The villetta known as 'Casa Toddi' has 2 bedrooms both with en-suite. The ground floor lounge sleeps 2 and there is a separate toilet and shower room on ground floor. There is a kitchen/diner with all modern facilities, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a microwave/oven. There are also drying and ironing facilities. Outside is a spacious terrace with a barbecue. There is parking for 2 cars. The track from the main road is about 100metres long.
Calabria is a surprising area to visit.Wonderful countryside with peaceful quiet mountain walks.Attractive peaceful beaches where there is plenty of space and no overcrowding. Many local restaurants supplying a marvelous array of Calabrian cuisine.

The house is 200 metres, 600ft above sea level. There are stunning views of Monte Cocuzzo,1541metres, 4700ft. The mountains are ideal quiet country walking. Fiumefreddo Bruzio is a typical medieval hillside village which has a selection of shops and bars and wonderful views along the coastline from the bar 'La Torretta'.The fish restaurant is a must. On a clear day it is possible to see 'Isola Stromboli' Italy's most active volcano.
There are numerous pretty villages and hillside towns in the area, untouched since the 1500s. The beaches and very clean, very quiet and within easy reach of the house.The beaches just beneath San Lucido are ideal for families with easy access to gentle waters. Local towns are Amentea, Paola for all shopping requirements ancient centres, churches, castles and a monastery. Drive inland to 'La Sila' national park where there are picturesque lakes, many pretty villages and an ideal area for lovers of the countryside.
There are numerous good restaurants along the main coastal road and in Amantea.
