Wonderful place to stay!

This was by far the best property I have rented in the area. The entire property including back deck with hot tub, huge back yard and the stream, and driveway entrance was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The cabin itself was laid out nicely, clean, charming, well decorated and stocked with all sorts of necessities as well as fun additions like games, DVDs, etc. My friends and I had a great time both at the property and visiting the surrounding towns. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly recommended!!

A perfect family getaway

My family and I stayed at Bee Tree Cottage in July 2009. We had a wonderful week! The property felt very secluded, despite its being located less than 15 minutes from grocery stores, gas stations, etc. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit, ate breakfast on the deck every morning, relaxed in the hot tub, lazed in the hammock, and dipped our feet in the creek while reading in the swing chair. The creek is a big asset--our boys and our dog spent hours playing there. Bee Tree is also close to the charming town of Black Mountain, Sliding Rock, hiking and whitewater recreation areas, and all the attractions of Asheville. The cottage is roomy, clean, and well-equipped. We highly recommend Bee Tree Cottage!

With such glowing reviews we were excited about renting this creekside cottage. After picking up our older son from a nearby camp it was a chance to come back together as a family and I can't think of a better location. We enjoyed the hot tub, the shady trees which helped us sleep in for a change, the creek which entertained the boys, the apple tree and the swing and horseshoes. We even had s'mores fireside. And found time to drive to Ghost Town in the Sky, not a bad drive. And we recommend a walk across the street to the friendly Bee Tree Christian Church - it was a highlight of our trip. We rented a new log cabin near Lake Lure after this home and found Bee Tree cottage had the more cozier beds and the better equipped kitchenware and even newer washer and dryer. We loved it!!!

Absolutely Perfect

My husband & I stayed here for his R&R from Iraq. Everything about it was perfect. The bed was SO comfy, it was very quiet and the whole property is beautiful. I loved how we were only a few minutes from town yet it felt completely secluded. The owners have thought of everything. The kitchen was completely stocked and the linens and towels were good quality. By the creek is a hammock and an area for a campfire which was wonderful. It was so relaxing to lay in the hammock and hear the creek rushing by. We enjoyed the cottage so much and are already planning our trip back. You will NOT regret renting this property.

This cottage is adorable--website pictures do not do home or property justice. The yard is huge and filled with beautiful flowering bushes; the whitewater creek has a soothing wooshing noise, sounds like the ocean!(our goldens loved wading in it and bobbing for fish!)
The deck is nice and large-- the hot tub is terrific--as is the gas fireplace that warms the living room on cool evenings.

The cottage is close to Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Mt. Mitchell(highest mtn east of Mississippi)Chimney Rock Park(a must), Lake Lure and the picturesque Blue Ridge Parkway! We also drove over to the Great Smoky National Park and Gatlinburg, Tn.- an easy day trip. the entire area has lots to see and do. A very pretty part of the country. Thanks for a nice relaxing week.

Our family recently spent a week in the Bee Tree Cottage. It is in a wonderfully peaceful setting. The surronding mountains are some of the most beautiful we have ever visited. There are so many things to do - or nothing you have to do, which ever you prefer. The flowing water in the rocky creek sounds so soothing from the deck. The hot tub is wonderful and our guys had a ball playing horseshoes while the gals cooked dinner in the well stocked kitchen. We had a lovely vacation and would recommend the Bee Tree Cottage... Pete and June were so gracious to work with.
