We loved the location and the house was perfect for us and our little ones. The spacious layout was great after our urban life in Boston, and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Johann had taken care to provide a travel cot and everything was lovely and comfortable.

We loved staying a week in this home. The street is a dead-end, so there is very little traffic. The backyard gardens are a hidden delight. We loved the 10 or 15 minute walk to the Cape Porpoise Kitchen, where we could purchase a dinner-to-go or sit and have a coffee.
The house is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, there are plenty of towels and lines and you can't beat having on-site laundry facilities.
It was unusually hot and humid while we were there, but the A/C was up to the test.
I would highly recommend this home. I have stayed at 6 different homes using HomeAway, and this location was one of the best.

The perfect getaway spot to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday! Although this property was quite "roomy" for just "us" two, it was exactly what the doctor ordered! ;)

I feel the house and surroundings were very well represented by the pictures and description, shared by the owners.

Cape Porpoise was new to us, despite the many, many trips to Kennebunkport.

Our favorite activities included: Taking in the scenic views at our own pace (picture taking); we LOVED the rooftop deck (coffee, taking pictures, taking in the sun); walking the Marginal Way (it never gets old); Antiquing; Visiting the Nubble and let's not forgot Browns Icecream!

Favorite Food Options: The Wayfarer - We became instant fans; we loved that we could walk there and the food was excellent! Everyone we encountered was nice.
Jackie's/Perkins Cove - Always a great place to eat.
Seafood Center of Maine/Arundel - This place was new to us (very casual). This location offered great food and for those of you that cannot find "fish chowder" - they offer a great Haddock chowder.

I could go on and on about our mini vacation.

I sincerely thank the owners for being very responsive to all of my inquiries and for sharing their beautiful place with us.

Our favorite adventures: Goose Rocks Beach, spectacular powder beach with gorgeous clouds, mild waves, kayaking the harbor and ocean coast.
Enjoyable weather and beautiful gigantic trees and rustling breezes, we shall remember. Thank you for a lovely spot to enjoy Maine!
Have to mention how much I enjoyed the wild rose bushes! The perfume!

Our favorite adventures: sailing on the schooner Eleanor, the Trolley Tour, swimming in the Atlantic and enjoying time with family.

Our favorite adventures are hearing the sounds of the harbor waking up. Running to Ocean Ave and sitting on the rocks for a the sunrise!

Beautiful, foggy in the mornings but gorgeous in the afternoon and evenings. Our favorite adventures were the beaches and the picturesque views.
Great restaurants we discovered: "The Landing" has outstanding mussels.
What a great relaxing time. WE had a blast. We went down to the parade and were able to see George & Barbara Bush. What a thrill. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much for a great stay!
