Beautiful view but disappointed
Just as the pictures show it was a beautiful setting with a beautiful view. The disappointing part was the cleanliness of the unit and a refrigerator that did not work properly. We made two separate calls to the rental company but never got a call back or a maintenance person to fix the issue. We ended up having to keep our perishables in a cooler with ice so they wouldn't go bad!
Owner's Response: We had some communications issues with rental company. I am checking into this with the rental company that handles my unit for me. The refrigerator was replaced this past Tuesday, but apparently there was a lack of communication with the renters.
I have had two equipment failures over the past 13 years. When this happens the rental company is supposed to move the renters to a new unit, like when there was a heat pump issue many years ago. This is the process that is supposed to be used and I am working that issue to make sure it does happen again.
Also, I give my personal contact information to everyone who rents my condo via VRBO so they can call me if there is any issue. You can call me 24/7. That call can allow me to intervene and take care of it. I ask that anyone who has any issue to call me so I can make things happen.
I update the condo every year to keep everything running and looking good. This past year, I put in a new TV, new shelving and microwave for the kitchen, updated two bathrooms, and put in new carpet.
I want to insure that everyone has a good vacation and I am motivated to take care of any and all problems. You can tell this from all the excellent reviews that I have received over the years. This will not change. I will make sure the communication issues with the rental company are corrected.

They didn't mention anything about the cleanliness of unit when we spoke to them. Had they, we would have immediately sent a housekeeper to re-clean unit. Lori and I both spoke to them told them you were getting a new refrig, then we said we needed to come measure. We both failed in asking if they wanted to move to another unit, I guess we are so use to people asking or demanding to be moved. Some guests don't cook or bring groceries other then drinks. We do apologize for not offering. If you want to give them adjustment for the inconvenience just let me know and I will credit them. Trust me we will always ask now instead of waiting.
