Attractive cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very roomy and the windows in the livingroom looked out at the dock so that we were able to keep an eye on the kids (teenagers). I appreciated the washer and dryer. The direct tv was a nice addition as most cottages only have antennas. The property was very clean and two bathrooms were a definite plus. Beautiful sunsets can be viewed from the dock.

Peaceful Getaway

The description of the house is very inclusive and accurate. It is spacious and the screened porch was lovely. It is a steep walk from the house to the lake which was OK for younger folks, but harder on elderly.
We visited the house at the end of the summer and found some areas to be unclean. The fridge was caked with food spills and the cabinets had crumbs in them. For the price of the rental I did not expect to have to clean before I could move in. The pillows were stained and some of the sheets were worn with holes. The downstairs bathroom had spiderwebs and bugs in the corners and on the floor. Items that should not have been there had the place been cleaned.
However, everything was in good condition and workable. The house includes all you need as far as linens, towels, paper products etc.
The dock is perfect for watching the sun rise/set. We found it to be a great spot for loon watching. The area around the dock is really rocky so be careful when launching kayaks/canoes.
An enjoyable spot (about 15 minutes in from the main road) for a family vacation. We comfortably lived as 7 people in one house which is not always easy.
