The Caboose

We loved our stay in Virginia and at the Caboose. The weather was perfect and enjoyed visiting attractions and just admiring the lovely Fall leaves as we walked and drove around the area.

Our favorite part was sitting around the Hobo Pit each evening. We loved just talking and sharing experiences. We also grilled each night for dinner and found the patio a very inviting location.

We never did get the hang of the satellite TV, but it was fine since we had more fun being outside around the Pit.

It was such a unique setting and we loved our time at the Caboose. Thank you for providing this experience.

My family and I loved staying in your caboose. When we first got there I said "This is pretty neat". My 5-year old son corrected me with "No Mom. This is TOTALLY AWESOME!!". He was right. My 5 and 3 year old sons did not want to leave. They just wanted to stay at the caboose and play all day! We had to drag them away to the safari park. They still ask us when we're going back to the caboose. Thanks!

I loved your cabose. It was everything I wanted. Me and my family loved out stay so much. I would love to come back. It was very tiny space but it was a very nice family experiance. I would do it agian in a heart beat. Thank you so much for making my birthday everything I wanted and so much more. Hope to be back soon

A great getaway for couples who just need a break from life!! Beautifully decorated and an amazing use of the space available. Tom has done a great job on this baby. The Safari Park was great fun, especially the walk through part. Be sure to read the rules for thee park and don't feed the Bison or Zebras! Highly recommend this spot, and kids will love it. Can't wait to come back again.

Thank you so much for such a fun trip. My 7 and 4 year old boys absolutely enjoyed themselves. They didn't want to leave! You've done a great job making this into such a fun and unique vacation home.

WOW!!! What an amazing place to stay. I am so happy to have "stumbled" onto finding the Caboose. We had a VERY enjoyable time in the Caboose, the only part of our vacation we didn't like was packing up on Monday to have to go home! We will be back, already planning the next trip to Natural Bridge, VA. I love the mountains. The Caboose was terrific. Mr. Bradshaw has made this into an incredible place to stay.Very well stocked, look around in the caboose there are board games, checkers, and cards to play, we had lots of laughs playing "go fish" at night. The dog loved it, he had room to run around and since he is a mastiff pup and very large we needed the extra room for him. My husband is 6 foot 6 inches and he had no problem staying in the caboose...The cuppola sleeps well, my daughter and I had to try it out. If you have the chance to stay here, we HIGHLY recommend it! Can't wait to come back. We are already selling the idea to lots of our friends that are looking for the unique get-away of a lifetime! Look forward to visiting again soon!

One of the top three weekends of my life.

Already making plans to bring family this summer, calling with reservations as soon as dates can be confirmed among us. All this less than 24 hours from departing.

We enjoyed our stay at the Caboose! It was very homey
and cozy. From the small town charm to the fun things to do, everything
was great! I loved shopping in downtown Lexington and being outside at
the Natural Bridge. We would definitely consider coming here again! Any child would LOVE this Caboose - we recommend to anyone who wants a short getaway!
