We had never been to Cape Coral, and selected this property based on the online photos and description. I can assure you that everything was accurately represented, and the owners are excellent. A comprehensive informational package was emailed to us after securing the rental, and the owners were available 24/7 via phone and email both before and during the rental. However, there was no need to contact them regarding any "problems," because there were none. During our two week stay I had a couple questions (e.g., how to adjust pool water temperature), and I received immediate responses. The house is very comfortable and centrally located. As with many neighborhoods in Cape Coral, there are some unoccupied houses nearby. But frankly, that only contributed to the quiet/peaceful environment. The neighborhood has a safe feeling...there is even a next door neighbor who is apparently a policeman, and parks his clearly marked "Cape Coral Police" vehicle in the driveway each night! Kind of nice as a free "security" extra.
In summary, this is a place that will not result in disappointment. Rather, you can rest assured there will be - as the Aussies say: "no worries."

The perfect Host and Hostess

The home was just as listed, super clean, comfortable and with all the added amenities. All I had to do was unpack my suitcase and relax. The neighborhood is quiet and residential yet only minutes away from almost anything and everything.
But what really perfected my stay at this lovely home were the owners Joyce and Peter. They were the perfect host and hostess without every being there. They guided me to the property when my GPS sent me in a wrong direction, tailored a list (compiled with me and my family in mind) of activities and sites to see in the area and were just a call away whenever I needed them (like when I messed up the TV remote.) I can't thank them enough for all the little things that they did to make this truly a perfect vacation.
Thank you Joyce and Peter and am already looking to next year and another stay.

This was our second stay here. The house was just as wonderful this time around. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Even though we've been here before we found plenty of things to keep us busy. A must do is Captain Doug's Airboat Ride. It was about an hour or so away but well worth it. We also ventured to SeaWorld, which took 3 hours. There is a HUGE Fleamarket in Fort Myers that is 20 minutes away. Our trip Shelling from Captiva Island was wonderful. There is a Shell Museum on Sanibel that was great. I could go on and on about the things we did. If you looking for restaurants there are plenty to choose from. RibCity is our favorite. This house is in such a great location you have an abundance of options available.

Relaxing summer

i went with my family from 7/13 - 7/17 and there were absolutely NO COMPLAINTS. The house has basically anything you can think of, it's exactly how it's described and it's close to many attractions and shopping centers. We went bowling a couple of blocks down and also went to the Sun Splash water park. The house was beautiful and the pool was nice and clean. I would defenitely recommend this place and hope to come back next year. The owner was always available and would always respond to questions or concerns within 24 hrs.

...because we want to be sure to find an open window when we come again! This was our home away from home. We loved every minute of it. From the moment we walked in we felt that we had made an extremely good choice. The house is beautifully decorated and there is nothing amiss.Everything is clean, there are enough towels, beach towels, the grill outside and especially the pool was fantastic. Before breakfast we all took a swim and before we went to bed we went swimmming again, not to mention the times inbetween.
Grocery shopping can be done just down the road.
Joyce and Peter were absolutely wonderful before, during and and after our stay. Joyce gave us lots of info and always responded immediately after we sent an email.
We didn't go out to eat often, but on our last day we went to the Shrimp Shack which we would also recommend for a family meal.
We will definitely come again. The pictures can't compare to the real thing. This has been the best family vacation we have had.

What wonderful accomodations, centrally located in a nice neighborhood. The home was perfect for my wife and I and our little dog. The lanai and pool were delightful and the weather was great. The home is near all the attractions the Cape Coral/ Ft. Myers area has to offer but why leave the pool/lanai? The home is comfortably furnished and reasonably priced. Will stay there again next year.

A Great Family Get Together!

What a great place to stay. The six of us (three couples) decided to meet in Florida for a family vacation and we couldn't of chosen a better place to stay. We were all very comfortable and everything we needed was provided in this home. It was in a good location and close to alot of neat things to do.
Not only was the home a great place to stay but Joyce and Peter were so nice to work with, I have never had renting a house be so easy.
We will do it again!

The house was a great place to stay. Central location for all sorts of activities for everyone. Lots of beaches, fishing, shopping and of course those touristy things. We even took the KeyWest Express out of Ft.Myers Beach, which is about 30 minutes away.
The house itself is bigger than the pictures show. Great layout for multiple family use. My favorite spot was the lanai. We took a swim in the pool, than laid under the sun in the enclosed lanai with no bugs. I would stay here again the next time we visit the Cape Coral area.

We have to admit we didn`t know what to expect when we booked joyce and peters house.
Yet as soon as we arrived we were simply overwhelmed by the mansion itself. The House itself is bigger than it appears, its enough space for a group of 6 to feel comfortable. The Lanai pool area is an absolute beautiful place to relax and chill out. It was as clean and well furnished as you could hope for and it was absolutely well prepared for us by the hosts.
basically we felt like home on the second day and this was what made this house so special. joyce herself is a very helpful , obliging and outgoing host who ensures you 100% that you don`t need to worry about anything. When we had some questions relating the house she took her time and was able to help us with everything that we asked for. No Wishes were left open. At the rental rates she offers this house is an absolute steal and provides everything that you need to enjoy your vacation. We would like to thank joyce and peter once again for the opportunity to have a stay there it was an absolute pleasure and a tremendous experience that we hope many others would like to share. we can recommend this first class house without any doubts at all and if we start a new trip into the area in the future are going to contact joyce and peter as our very first option.
