Thank you Marjorie for sharing Casa Corlina with us, it was one of the most pleasurable holidays we have had for a long while, from the time we watched the sun rise over the Mediterranean while drinking our morning coffee each day, to the time we all went to bed at night it was “Just Perfect“. Its location to the surrounding shops, restaurants and the beautiful town of Nerja was perfect, not too far away but far enough for us to return to the peacefulness of the Villa at the end of the day.
Everything far exceeded our expectations, the Villa the weather and the location was beautiful. For the first two weeks there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and temperatures were in the 70’s. As you said it reached 80 on the terrace a couple of times which wasn’t hard to take. The last week the clouds and wind arrived but even so the temperatures were comfortable enough for us to continue our daily visit to the markets and have our liquid lunches outside.
As other guests have stated the restaurants and coffee shops in the area offer lots for every one and while I could list the ones we enjoyed I feel that half of the beauty of this place is the joy of trying out the ones that catch you eye and suite the mood. One may make the occasional bad choice but for the most part the food offered hit’s the spot.
We never failed to hit the local markets every Monday and Tuesday as suggested and even if we didn’t buy anything it was enjoyable simply meandering through the busy streets looking for bargains. We are not big on site seeing preferring to stay locally absorbing as much of Nerja as we could, because there is a lot to explore, however we did take drive to Frigiliana and several other places recommended and were totally amazed by their beauty.
The peace and tranquility of the holiday has made it hard to settle down since our return, however we are looking forward to returning next year. Again thank you for sharing your beautiful Villa with us.

My girlfriends and I have just spent a wonderful week in Casa Colina on Dadera del Mar. The property was very nice, clean and spacious.
It was late November and we had temperatures near 20 deg. every day. Nearby Nerja is a lovely Spanish town that has retained a very Spanish flavour! Shops and restaurnts were excellent.
We visited Grenada by coach which was wonderful. There are so many places nearby to visit we were spoilt for choice. Malaga, Seville and Cordba are a little further but well worth a visit. We enjoyed street markets within a few kms of the villa. These were colouful and there was plenty to buy. Torrex, Caletta and Almunecar to name but a few.
I would recomend this property to my friends but would have reservations about families with toddlers and the very elderly as there are two sets of steps up to the villa.

I found Casa Colina to be a very clean,well equipped villa.The views from both balconies are to die for.Watching the sunsets and the night skies was fantastic.We didn't hire a car as we found the local bus service very good and taxis reasonable. We hope to return to Casa Colina next year.

We had a fabulous week at the villa with our friends and family.Overall the weather was good except one day of torrential rain. (Which can be expected in November) The views were great and the accomodation wonderful we all enjoyed the walk into Nerja and stopped along the way at one of the many bars and restaurants for refreshments. Directions and instructions sent were perfect and we had no difficulties with any arrangements. Marj kept us informed by e-mail of anything current we needed to know e.g. a reminder to put the clocks back and a small problem with the upstairs shower.
Overall the stay was brilliant and we would certainly return. Thank You. Graham, Christine, Mick, Sue, Erin and Johnathan.

We had absolutely wonderfull weather during our 10 day stay. The villa has good facilities with outstanding views. We we used the pool of the terrace, the larger pool in the complex and local coves, which have quieter sandy beaches than in town. Nerja is the least spoilt of the resorts around and is bustling in the evening. Ayo's on the main beach in Nerja is a must for Paella on Sunday lunch-times.

this is our second visit to casa colina - it's safe to say we love it there and we love the town of nerja. the villa was spotless as usual on our arrival - the only bugbear was the constant presence of ants despite our constant vigilance, sterilising and spraying! but this is no-ones fault and a small price to pay for the view which is to die for. the town centre is a long walk but the owner of the villa makes no pretence otherwise conversely the town however is a very short and straight forward drive away. the owner of the villa also sends thro a very comprehensive pack to prepare you for staying there.
the pool could maybe do with a bit of tlc as some of the tiles are missing but really this is a very relaxed place to stay and unless you want to go out there is no need - the kitchen is fully equipped and the local supermarkets great. there are lockable gates on all danger areas if you have young children and we went with older members of our family as well and the layout of the villa meant we did not feel on top of each other.
finally i would and have recommended this villa to our friends and family.

The holiday was excellent with the weather being absolutely glorious every day.
Casa Colina is much better than the web pictures suggested & we all have had a really great holiday. The sea views are just wonderful from all the windows & the superb terrace. We all enjoyed the swimming pool.
The villa is really well equipped & was as described with the additional information provided being very useful.
We walked to the beach at Paraiso De Nerja & would recommend the restaurant at the foot of the beach steps for both sunbeds & food/drinks.

I stayed at the Casa Colina villa in Nov 2005 with my two children for one week. The view from the balcony was simply stunning, the villa was superb, very homely not like normal villas. By day you can sit and relax by your own pool or you can use the communal pool which is just across the way. My kids loved it and want to go back. My dealings with the owner were superb. If only all people were like this! I will definitely go back and have recommended this to many others.
The two towns nearby, Nerja and Torrox have everything you need and there are plenty of things to do for days out.
I would recommend hiring a car to make full use of the nearby attractions such as the caves and the fantastic villages such as frigliana up in the hills.

We have been to Casa Collina twice now. Each time the villa has been clean, well equipped with homely touches and the weather has been reasonably good (not too hot, not too cold, a bit windy but not at all wet!). The kids love the communal pool where they can make new friends. I love to barbeque fish (fish grill provided) and we all love lazing around doing very little. The beach is rough sand and makes for a great (not too taxing) walk into Nerja although it is best to get a taxi back from the supermarket if you have bought more than a couple of items! I'd recommend it to any family with kids old enough to cope with the marble staircase and the pool.
