Great Beach Vacation

Hello Christy and the Lamberts,
We are back again (7th time!!)and making our self at home at the lovely Palm House. We love looking forward to the changes you have made over the years. If you ever see this place call us first!! The Isle of Palm is simply heaven. Thank you for always making us feel so welcome.

Thank you for another great vacation at the Palm House. This home is lovely, the decorating very nice, and we have lots of room for our family to spread out. It takes just 3 minutes or so to walk to the beach. Plus this area of the beach is never crowded (even during high season). Wild Dunes is fabulous and Charleston one of the finest cities in the South. Thank you for the honor of staying in your home and being so nice to work with.
We will be back in the summer!!!!

Thank you so much for opening your lovely home to our extended family. We all found the Palm House to be very comfortable (including the bedding). The location is perfect, not far from the beach and yet close to all the activities. Our family has rented beach houses for over 20 years. We understand that beach houses- with the ocean wear and tear on the exterior and the weekly guests havoc on the interior, are going to be in a constant state of repair. We appreciate the opportunity to enjoy your home and are already planning to return next summer. Thank you Christy for being great to work with.

House was a good location on Isle of Palms. The photos were better than what we actually found when we got there. The home is very tired and is in need of a lot of repair. All the beds were very uncomfortable,we had 4 couples stay and everyone complained about the beds. We also had to bring all paper & soap products,which is fine but didn't realize that they didn't supply laundry soap for washing the linens they asked us to wash before leaving. Plus the ice machine didn't work,no propane for grilling and so on,I could keep going but you get the picture.All & all it was okay but the home needs some tlc & updating.Would we stay again, sadly no.

This was our first time staying at the Palm House. Throughout the week we had different family members visiting. It was a wonderful experience for all. The beach access was perfect. So many things to do nearby. Historic Charleston is just 15 minutes away so you can visit Market Street and King Street for fantastic shopping.

I would reccomend the Palm House to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing family vacation. We hope to be able to return sometime.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to your lovely home but do have a few suggestions to make it even better. The home is in need of a good spring cleaning (just like my home) not dirty by any means just needed a refreshing. I realize we came relatively early in the season and maybe that will come soon. Our biggest concern is the exterior of the home, I do realize that salt air is very hard on the exterior of a home but you have several areas where there is bare wood and even some areas that the wood is deteriorating, it did not bother us but I would hate to see you with a large repair bill that could be prevented. Also the tile in the master bath around the tub is actually loose. I stepped up on the step to hang a towel on the towel rack and the tile actually stuck to the bottom of my foot. We loved the wood floors, so glad that they were not pristine. We were careful not to track in any more sand than we had to but were not nervous about scarring up perfect floors, great for the beach. The WI-FI was great but the TV's could use an update. Lovely neighborhood, short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and can tell that the home is well loved, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

We just cant stay here enough (this was our 5th time). The location in a quite neighborhood- 2 or 3 minutes to the beach is fantastic (we're just not crazy about the high density, highrise condo scene). The Palm House is always clean and nicely furnished. We are from the North so love all the palm trees tucked in the wonderful landscaping! We have had the pleasure of being here with
just our family of 3 and our extended family of 12, and each time the house is just right! I dont know how you do it week in and week out, but you and your team do a great job! Thank you for your hospitality.

This house has tons of style and was perfect for just the 3 of us that needed the perfect get away. It was clean and furnished really cool. The owners made it easy and were ready to answer any questions we came up with. We think the location is wonderful- maybe a 3 minute walk down the quite cul de sac and your toes are in the sand.
We are bringing back our extended family here next summer- they cant wait! Thank you for your kindness.
