Great vacation on hollywood beach

My wife and I had a wonderful nine day stay at this location. This was the first time we had ever rented a condominium. These arrangements were made at the last minute. Unfortunately, an owner of another property I had made a deal with off of this website months in advance sold the property right from underneath us, and let us know less than a week from our flight. Raisa saved our vacation, and couldn't have been more pleasurable to deal with. The condo has everything you could possibly need. The view is outstanding, and you have an excellent view while sitting inside on the couch. The condominium is very well kept, and nicely decorated.

This was our first time on the East coast, and we were pretty impressed by the area. A couple good places to eat include Giorgio’s, both the bakery and the restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the early bird dinner specials available every day. For more of an upscale dinner experience, try Hollywood Prime in the Westin Diplomat hotel up the street. I consider myself a beef connoisseur, and I had the best steak I have ever consumed at this restaurant.

Lastly, if you're going to book this property for an extended stay, I would highly recommend a car. It is not absolutely necessary, but it makes getting out much easier. Also, due to the bad economy, there are a lot of short sales going on regarding Florida condominiums. The first question you should ask an owner or real estate agent is if the property is currently up for sale. If it is, buyer beware, the property could be sold right before your travel dates. I had to learn this the hard way.

My wife and I arrived at noon on Feb 1, 2009. We were greeted by the unit owner and shown the property and the amenities. The month we spent there was great. We walked everywhere and never needed a car. Just wish I had more luck at Gulfstream Park, the race track I went to everyday. The Broadwalk is located about a mile down the beach and was a great place to see and have fun. Fat Tuesday was especially exciting. I would reccommend this unit to anyone.....K from Chicago

This condo is wonderful, clean and exactly as in the photos. Excellent location it is right on the beach. The pool was very warm and clean. This is a wonderful property for a couple or for a party of 3 (sofa bed is to small for more than one person).

The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen, linen and appliances are all provided and there is a laundry which you can purchase a card for. The view is amazing and the beach is wonderful for long walks.

Our booking was done at the last minute for our 3 day stay, the owner was accommodating and very helpful. She gave us a quick tour of the condo and information about the building and left a cell number should we need anything further.

There is a lot of shopping nearby, just across the bridge as well as Aventura Mall which is less than 10 minutes away by car. There is a Seven-11 on the corner for quick groceries like milk and bread and a pizza place directly across the street, however we did not try the pizza. But, if you are looking for a great pizza place, about 8 miles away in Ft Lauderdale is a place called DoughBoys. It was very much worth the drive, huge servings and amazing food!

I will be recommending this property to friends and family visiting the area and will most likely return for longer stay in the future.

My husband and I rented for ten days. It was pretty much done at the last minute. The owner was very accommodating. We arrived later than planned, but she waited for us so that she could give us the keys and show us around. The apartment is exactly as pictured. It was neat, clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular. The balcony had a long view of the beach, which was beautiful. We asked about places to eat and she was able to give us a variety of cuisines and prices. You need a car to get to downtown Hollywood, which was nearby, about a ten minute drive. The apartment was near to Jai Alai, the Hard Rock Casino, and lots of antique shops. All were within a 20 minute drive, or less.I would definitely recommend this place to others.
