Beautiful, spacious - pristine condition

Renting a vacation home sight-unseen is a daunting experience, but if you choose this gem in the wonderful town of Saluda, NC, you'll be glad you did. It's extremely well-appointed and a joy to come home to after a day of sightseeing. One word of caution however: you might end up skipping some of those "must-see" tourist attractions and opt for the pleasures of shopping and dining in charming downtown Saluda (Purple Onion restaurant is top-notch) or driving down the winding roads to the lovely town of Tryon (fabulous Arts & Crafts Center there), or maybe fishing or perhaps painting "en plein air" at the Green River. I read all the guide books and had my plan of attack, but the most relaxing and enjoyable were found close to "home". My 3 boys - ages 15, 13 and 10 loved the yard, pond and swing. When they entered the house for the first time they were thrilled! This was April school vacation week - a rode trip from Massachusetts down south. As one reviewer commented, it can be scary to climb the ladder to the lofts, but it does make a great private spot for the older kids. Choose this place and enjoy!
