This home is a must rent! The property is huge and the views are incredible. Very private, built near a cliff overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings. The deck with BBQ grill faces the cliff where you can take great photos for memories. Theres a small hill out front where you can have fun with sleds in the winter time that you can find in the shack outside. We spent about 10-15 minutes outside looking at the views before we even stepped into the house!. As far as the private ride up to the property, you definitely must have a 4WD vehicle in the winter season.
The house was very clean and smelled good too! Downstairs is a beautiful pool table, foosball table, hot tub, surround sound and heated floor! Everything is in excellent condition, we had tons of fun with the foosball table especially. On the 2nd floor are 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The living room is also great for your group to just relax, watch tv, or play board games - very comfortable couch!. Theres also a small room with a heat stove, futon, and lounge chair. The heat stove is awesome, once you get it going, it puts out alot of heat. There are 2 bathrooms, one on the first and one on the 2nd floor. Both bathrooms were very clean with nice designs!
Tony is the most respectful and organized owner I have ever dealt with. Just after our arrival he gave us a call to see if we had any questions about anything. He is very easy to get in contact with and willing to help with any issues you may have. Tony truly is a dedicated owner who takes care of the property and goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a great time. I would definitley deal with Tony in the future.

This is a beautiful house and a place to create great memories. My friends and I were looking for a last minute getaway from the New York skyscrapers and stumbled upon this rental. It exceeded our expectations with the the indoor hot tub, foozball tables, board games, kayaking and swimming in the lake, reading on the hammock, nighttime s'mores on the fire pit, running through the quaint town of Wilmington, watching the sunset over the breathtaking scenery, lounging on the sofa in front of a movie with the internet -- there was something for everyone! Moreover, Tony is wonderful. He is very easy to get ahold of and very friendly. This is a rental must!

We had rented this property for a fall (2008) weekend and it has been one of our best vacations till date. The house, the location and everything else is better than the description and we used it to the full! No doubt that we will be renting this house again and again.

I stayed at this beautiful home with 5 friends in early January. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us, with extra beds to spare. Very comfortable, warm and enjoyable. The hot tub and sauna are great after being out sledding or skiing. It is a great distance from Mt.Snow - an easy drive - and right down the road from a very cute downtown. The owner is very helpful with everything - start to finish. The hill the home sits on provides for the spectacular view. My only recommendation to renters is to make sure you have four-wheel drive. I can imagine the lake and location would also be great for summer rentals. The basement level is being remodeled with heated flooring and includes a foozeball table and basketball hoop, and though we were not yet able to use the area - it would be a great area for teens or children to play.

The house was a wonderful pick for a ski trip getaway. If you are looking for the most amazing calming view of absolute serenity, look no further. The house is perched on top of a cliff that overlooks a lake and mountains. It leaves you with a true get away from it all feeling.
The house is very clean and has a woodsy natural feel to it with great amenities such as a hot tub, woodstove, and modern kitchen. I would definitely come back again and will be keeping Tony's contact info. He's a great owner who is also very easy to communicate with should you have any concerns.

A true Getaway-Secluded yet a close to town

Well to our family, Location is important. This house sits on the side of a mountain, very secluded yet real close to a great little town. Great views and a nice covered deck. House was clean and was bathed in sunshine, we were able to sit outside on the back deck and use their binoculars to watch the ice fisherman out on the lake in their small sheds, drilling holes in the ice, It was quite interesting. We enjoyed using the telescope to view the moon. The wood stove in the den is great, never used one before and boy do they put out heat, the den must have been 80 degrees!! We had a problem with the sauna, but Tony was able to explain where the reset button was, he was easy to get a hold of and a pleasure to deal with. We were able to stay late on the last day, There was no problem with us leaving after the kids got back from skiing. That was real convenient. Overall, The house was great; we had a memorable time. Thanks For sharing your house with us Tony, We will be back.

I think i would've enjoyed this house better in warmer weather. The nearby lake, and forestry make it a prime estate for kayaking, biking, hiking etc. It sits on a very secluded and steep hill which was hard to drive up in snow-y conditions. Overall, the house was nice; clean and well maintained. Home owner was very helpful and informative with directions and concerns.

We recently stayed at this house to get away for a relaxing and chill trip... it was a group of girls for a 30th birthday. We were unsure of what to expect because photos can be deceiveing but we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the house! It is at the very top of a hill... the last house on the street... so it's super secluded and private. We loved the new balcony attached to the kitchen, which overlooks a stunning view and the firepit outside which we loved as well! We loved the fireplace upstairs, it was a cute and cozy area to make s'mores. Everything was great! There is also a tree swing outside and a hiking trail on the property. The main thing is that I am VERY particular and a self proclaimed germaphobe and I felt like the house was VERY clean!!! I would reccommend this house highly and the owner, Tony was very easy to contact and thorough with all the details! There definitley isn't too much to do around the area and the locals we kind of scary (hahah!) but it's a great cozy house to stay to chill and cook dinners and especially if you go during the ski season!

Great Get Away House!

This house was so comfortable. Lots of light, lots of room and a spectacular view! We grilled meals outside, enjoying the quiet, serenity and beauty of Vermont. The lake was wonderful for fishing and kayaking. The hot tub, sauna, foosball, clean and comfortable home help make our visit to Vermont a most relaxing and wonderful vacation. Tony was always available for any questions, dining recommendations and overall help before and during our stay. Thanks for sharing your house with us Tony!

My friends and I like the cabin the first time we stayed in 2007 Feb, so we decided to stay at the cabin again in 2008 Feb for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed the view overlooking the lake and close proximity to Mt. Snow ski resort. Also the hot tub and sauna were enjoyable after a long day on the slope.
