"very pleasant place to stay"

We stayed in this apartment for two months. It was completely ready to move in and had everything we needed (including a big flat screen tv and broadband). The owner/manager is very nice and very helpful. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and sunny. The location was perfect for us- a short walk to UCB, close to public transport and basically right next door to tons of fabulous restaurants-- French, Japanese, Thai, Nepalese, pretty much everything you could think of. It's also an easy walk to several grocery stores and drug stores so we got by without a car for the time we were there. I can't really think of any drawbacks to this apartment or neighborhood, basically we can't recommend it highly enough.
