An easy walk to Saunders beach, which is kind of close to the road but still very nice. 2 liquor stores within easy walking distance and a pharmacy. The fish fry is about a 15 min walk or a 3 min bus.
1 block from a main street where you can grab a bus to go downtown or around the island, it's really convenient and the buses are frequent and easy to navigate - you just catch the 10 downtown.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apt, it was clean and tidy, very comfortable for the two of us. The owner was extremely nice and provided us with some simple groceries as well which was a nice bonus. If you are looking for an economical place to stay and prefer the ocean to the pool I'd recommend this place.

Me and my hubby stayed at this location for two week for the Christimas and New Year's holiday. Mrs.Diah, the owner have a friendly presence about her and so do her staff. This was my first time staying here in her apt and I felt safe the apt was clean. It came with a telephone, full kitchen, mini diningroom, a full bathroom and a bedroom w/TV. I just recommand that you bring your own towels and washclothes. The service we recieved was great, that her staff had provided for us. We had internet access which is great so we could email family and friends home in the United States. The location was in a wonderful area near the bus to take downtown for only $1.25pp eachway, so you really don't need to rent a car. I recommend these apts for your next Nassau Bahamas experience.
