It is private yet steps to McDowell Mountain Ranch Golf Club where we can have our 3 meals if we decided not to cook! Further down the McDowell Mountain Ranch is a pub 'Twisted Lizard', community centre and restaurant ...... great location!

We stayed at this beautiful home from 12/30/12-1/5/13-I apologize we are so late in sending our review! We are a family of four-my husband and I and two college-age children. We have been traveling to Scottsdale at least yearly since 1985 to visit relatives and this is by far, the nicest place we have ever stayed. The photos do not do justice to this home. It was beautifully furnished, very spacious. The owner and the management company were very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. We never went out for dinner because we preferred to relax in this lovely home at the end of a day in the sun and the kitchen was so well equipped and so pleasant to cook in, but there are many wonderful restaurants nearby. The location is spectacular. We love hiking and have hiked on trails all over Scottsdale, but we enjoyed the nearby trails the most ever. There is a nice hiking trail just across the road which we used daily. The McDowell Sonoran Preserve with its many wonderful trails is a short drive away. We hiked many of those trails during our time in Scottsdale. We highly recommend this home without reservation. I truly hope our family is able to stay here again next year-we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Nice House.
Great backyard.
We did not use the pool at the cost of $30/day to heat, but it was nice to look at.
1 mile away to a lap pool $3/day usage
Great area for walking and hiking,
Close to food and shopping.
We'd do it again in a heartbeat.
It is not the least expensive place you could stay at, but clean and comfortable and convenient
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My partner and I stayed in this beautiful home June 25-29. The rental process couldn't have been easier with both the home owner and the property manager responding to questions promptly and completely. We arrived to an immaculate, beautifully decorated, inviting, and well maintained home. The pool and outside lounging area was exactly what we needed in the 105 degree heat. The home is right near the mountains and there are trails right across the street for walking, biking, jogging, etc. The home is close to anything you could possibly need in the way of shopping and restaurants. We stayed in and cooked a few nights so that we could use the fabulous kitchen. If our travel plans take us back to Scottsdale, then this would definitely be a home we would want to stay in again!!
