Being so close to the ancient city walls, just one stop away from the famous Brancacci chapel, the Old Bridge , Signoria Square,the Cathedral,Santa Croce, the Uffizi and all of the most striking spots in Florence,makes San Frediano the favourite quarter for fiorentine and their guests. But Monte Oliveto,a small villa of the early twentieth century, is a quiet place wheel you can take a break from the traffic’s continuous noise.

BY CAR: leave the A1 MILAN-NAPLES MOTORWAY at Firenze-Certosa, drive through the Via Senese for about 4Km towards Florence, then turn right in Via del Gelsomino and drive for 1Km, then turn left , take Viale del Poggio Imperiale towards the centre and when you arrive in Porta Romana square drive through to the square to Viale Petrarca , after 700 mt. you will be in Piazza Tasso , the first street left , after 200 mt. you are in Via Burchiello who our B&B Monte Oliveto is. BY BUS FROM THE TRAIN STATION: take Ataf bus nr 12 at the TRAIN STATION Santa Maria Novella and get down at the bus stop 'Burchiello' (20 minute after), go bak for 30 mt , turn left,after 20 mt turn also left and you are in via Burchiello. BY AIRPLANE: take the Sita/Ataf shuttle-bus at FLORENCE AIRPORT Amerigo Vespucci linking the airport to the main train station (Santa Maria Novella). Distance: 20 minutes by taxi and 45 minutes by bus.
