The apartment is 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, fully equipped (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer….) with a huge terrace all around the apartment (U-shape) This stylish apartment right in the middle of city, just of the Oxford street and close to the Holborn station (2 minutes walk), makes it also glamorous accommodation for families or/and business; whereas the well known and loved tourist sights like Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, British Museum, Big Ben, National Gallery and many other are within a easy short walk for the visiting tourist! For the enthusiastic shopper Oxford street and all the glamorous or budget shops! You simply cannot find larger 3 bedroom apartment more centrally for such a price. This is most convenient if you want to avoid public transport and want to explore the city on foot. The apartment is on the 5th floor with lift of the beautiful refurbished building of Covent Garden. Building has got very high security which would be very difficult to find in London. Convenient for older visitors as the apartment is close enough to get home when tired or in need of a nap; everything within a short walking distance! Great place for a family stay in central London

The Vernon House apartment was just as described in the listing, perfectly clean and comfortable with plenty of space and privacy for our family of four. The amenities were wonderful (loved having laundry, a dishwasher, and a well-equipped kitchen with some basics already on hand--not to mention umbrellas for our use, plus maps and helpful tips on things to do). The location could not have been better for exploring the city and there was more charm in the immediate neighborhood than we had expected, with a few new places just opened on Sicilian Ave itself. (Highly recommend coffee from the brand-new Free State Coffee and the baked goods from The Orchard vegetarian eatery just downstairs.) Martin was very helpful and everything about the rental ran smoothly. We found it a bit noisy on the Saturday night with a club apparently nearby, but that problem was easily solved with earplugs and other nights were much quieter. We were just sorry not to be able to use the terrace more, as it was very cold on our visit, but it is indeed lovely and we hope to return someday in summer when we can take advantage of it!

Perfect Location, Great Apartment

The apartment was lovely, clean, and in a great location. Grocery and tube station just a block away. Walking distance to restaurants and theaters. Martin was very helpful providing information on both the apartment and the city. He also provided the basics such as laundry detergent, paper products, coffee/tea, etc. which saved us time and money. Having three bedrooms gave our family of four space to spread out after a long day exploring the city. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again.

Location, location, location!

Location, location, location! This apartment on Sicilian Avenue near the Holborn tube station is a great base for a stay in London. You have ready access to so much of what is going on in London culture, museums, tourism, restaurants, and business. Our family of five had a special week in the apartment with me and my wife, two adult children, and a 12-year old grandchild on his first visit to London. The accommodations, which include a large living and dining space as well as a fully equipped kitchen, are very comfortable and clean and were the scene of many family planning sessions and evening recaps of the day's events. Sicilian Avenue provides a nice "home" neighborhood with several places for snacks and breakfast, if you don't want to prepare your own. Anything else you might need in your neighborhood from groceries to hardware is within another block. Finally, helping ensure a seamless stay, Martin the apartment manager provides helpful guidance and is very responsive to any questions. I would strongly recommend the apartment to friends and business associates.

This is just wonderful right from the start, booking nice and easy everything went smoothly, Martin's warm greeting made you feel at home straight away.
Apartment was very spacious clean and comfortable. We were three generations starting at 63 and ending at 7 and all just loved the apartment and the surrounding area, it felt like a little village all of it's own, with many cafes to choose from. Bus to Piccadilly outside the door, tube 200m away, and with in walking distance to London's West End, plus supermarket around the corner and Martin as your host what more could you need. We look forward "daily" of doing it all again!!
