Beautiful luxury villa, with every modern home comfort. Interior designed in pale colours, books, cd's, Sky TV, heated pool, air conditioning, super king beds and en suite bathrooms. Views of ocean and mountains from every window. Peaceful, no near neighbours, not overlooked, private gardens and terraces filled with flowers. Indoor and outdoor dining, brick barbecue and cook's kitchen. Gated security, electric gates and private driveway and courtyard parking.

2600 sq metre well fenced plot. Sun around pool all day,sun shades, sun loungers, outdoor dining opens to indoor dining.

Interior space of 450 sq m with three interconnecting reception rooms, plenty of sofas, modern kitchen,all bedrooms en suite with either bath or power shower rooms, quality linen, feather pillows. A delightful house built on a hill, last house in the road, no passing traffic, no road noise. The master bedroom fills the whole of the top floor, plus terrace. There are two bedrooms downstairs and two further bedrooms in a delightful cottage across the courtyard, each with their own front door. There is room for 10/12 adult friends, family groups, plus toddlers in cots. Hire a car or use excellent taxi service.

El Madronal is one of the most sought after areas on this coastline. It is home to some of the most exclusive and expensive properties in all of Andalucia, and yet it is a well established community, built over twenty years ago. Each villa has its own very large plot and La Cotorra has spectacular views from all sides. The location benefits from cool breezes and clear skies. There is plenty to do on the property, outside there is a garden and toys can be supplied. There is a terrace to enjoy the evening sun, a barbecue, an outdoor dining table, wonderful pool with cascade feature and shallow ledge for sunbathing. Plenty of sun loungers. Huge well equipped kitchen. 24 hour shop close by. Easy access range of supermarkets. Top restaurant, El Coto, within walking distance. 45 minutes from both Malaga and Gibraltar airports with excellent low cost flights. Many golf courses within 10 minutes: La Quinta Golf Course and Los Arqueros golf are within 5 minutes. There is a luxury spa at La Quinta, as well as paddle tennis and a golf academy for beginners.

El Madronal is also a fabulous base for exploring Andalucia. Ronda, home of bullfighting, Granada, the white villages, Cordoba, Seville, Tarifa and even north Africa can all be visited in a day. There are local markets, festivals, the famous Puerto Banus, the old town of Marbella and many sandy beaches all within 15 minutes of the house.

This has been our family villa for fifteen years and we completely renovated it six years ago, updating the pool, kitchen and bathrooms. We are passionate about the garden and believe it is a feature of the property. We live in London and Oxfordshire and visit El Madronal as often as we can. Our favourite time in Spring and Autumn, but Christmas is also enormous fun and the weather can be glorious.

We were staying with friends nearby who knew this villa was for sale and we fell in love with it. It has a lovely atmosphere and was designed and built by a Spanish family who lived here all year round. They understood how to build to take best advantage of the sun and the views and we think they found an amazing plot, one of the best on the coast.

The views all around and from every window make this a beautiful place to stay any time of year. We never tire of looking at the mountains and enjoying the peace and beauty of the surroundings.

What a fabulous week!
Wall-to-wall sunshine, temperatures in the high-80sF, fantastic company, super food and a superb villa with everything one needs to enjoy one's stay.
All the amenities within the villa have been very well thought through and the decor and furnishing has been done most tastefully - some fantastic paintings in the lounge! Swimming pool was amazing and such wonderful views - the very definition of an 'infinity pool'.
The local golf courses are always in excellent condition, but they were better than ever this year - as was my golf as a result. Local restaurants maintain the highest standards and, when we ate in at the villa, the local supermarkets were a source of really good quality food. Thank you for all the detailed information you provided to guide us to the right places.
Your amazing villa has everything that any family needs to have a top holiday and I couldn't recommend it more strongly.

We were a group of ten for two weeks and we all found the accommodation wonderful. The views, gardens, pool, patio were spectacular. We could not of asked for more. We visited Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Seville, Granada and Gibraltar. We also lounged on the beach, at wonderful meals out and enjoyed much wine and laughter around the dining room table. This is a truly magical spot. We will highly recommend this to all of our friends who want to explore the south of spain.

Dear Penny&Tim

Just wanted to send you a message of thanks. My family and I have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in your stunning home, we were made to feel welcome from the moment Pat and Brian met us to the moment we left. The villa is in a fantastic location and we were all blown away by the comfort, beautiful decor and wonderful views afforded to us from the terrace. The pool was a hug hit with all of us especially my niece and nephew.

We were lucky enough to have amazing weather and we really do hope that we will have the opportunity to stay once more, unfortunately my parents were unable to make the trip as my mum broke her wrist just before they were due to leave for the airport! Fortunately she is on the mend and we certainly hope that we will all be able to repeat the trip and provide her with the chance to stay in your beautiful home.

I must also say once more how lovely Pat & Brian were to us, they were incredibly helpful and they made the holiday all better as nothing was too much trouble. It was great to know that if anything went wrong they were on hand to help out.

One hour to Ronda, Day Trips to Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Donana National Park, Tarifa and North Africa by hydrofoil in 25 minutes. Sailing, diving, exploring or sun lounging on the beach.

Sunshine, sea, warm days and nights and a wonderful, quiet home to return to.

Walk to great restaurant. Short taxi ride to world famous night life on the coast in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Numerous excellent restaurants inland and on the coast that we can recommend.

Notes:
There is a separate utility room with washing machine and pool inflatables, lounger cushions and a basket of poolside towels. Internet access and printer and the large television receives UK channels & Sky packages. DVD's and CD's are provided, plus an Ipod speaker system. There are many books, novels, travel guides and maps. The garden has been fenced and is well laid out with beautiful, colourful flower borders and terraces on three sides of the house. Watering system keeps everything green and the pool man and gardener visit once a week. The house is on its own little hill and so the drive is fairly steep, but then this affords the excellent views all around. We have a local English speaking manager and cook and cleaner can be provided every day on request. The drive is entered through your own electric gates and the house has a security alarm system. Wheelchair access if possible to all the ground floor rooms and bedrooms and to the poolside, garden.
