Self catering holiday cottages set in the heart of Devon countryside with 6 acres of grounds, indoor pool, games room and excellent walking for miles around. A rural retreat with some very lovely touches. For instance, enjoy freshly baked croissants delivered to you door or a swim in the large indoor pool. Or, take a stroll from your doorstep through some of the glorious countryside or wander the Tarka Trail beside the River Taw and maybe spot the otters that live there. Perhaps eat one of our delicious freezer meals or visit one of the gourmet pubs within easy driving distance and then relax and be pampered by a choice of therapists in your cottage. Lounge in front of the wood burning fire, watch a DVD from the library, listen to the birdsong, whatever!! You could even meet our friendly pet sheep, alpacas and pymy goats and help us feed them. Dartmoor National Park 10 minutes away and Eden Project 60 minutes with lots to do in between.

This mid terrace cottage sleeping 4 has 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with twin beds - on the ground floor along with a bathroom. From the double room, French windows lead out to its own patio where there are a table and 4 chairs - perfect for an alfresco breakfast as the patio faces south east. Stone steps lead up between the terraced flower borders to the main lawn and to the heated indoor pool and fields beyond. Upstairs, the high ceiling with original beams in the sitting area provide a light and airy feel with full length windows giving views over the gardens and the pretty courtyard, old farmhouse, fields and woods. Also there is the fully fitted kitchen with built in oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Well equipped with all the necessities for a relaxing holiday. Also, 2 televisions, Free view, VCR, music centre, iron and board and all linen and towels, heat and light are included.

Nestling in a secluded valley in the heart of the Devon countryside between Exeter and Okehampton, we are only 6 miles from Dartmoor National Park, within easy reach of both coasts and only half an hour from Exeter. Set a mile down the end of a peaceful country lane totally surrounded by idyllic country scenery we are ideally placed to enjoy walking the many footpaths or exploring the Tarka Trail along the River Taw, famous for its otters, and the valley is rich with wildlife. We are just over a mile from NorthTawton which has all the essential shops, a few pubs, church, Post Office, bank, pharmacy, doctor, dentist and vets. Many attractions such as National Trust properties, gardens, RHS Rosemoor, Adventure Parks, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Digger World, Steam Trains, and much more are all within an hours drive .

  • Prices are for holiday rental inclusive of VAT, all bed linen, (not linen, pillows or blankets for the cots), bath & hand towels, hot water, heating, lighting and use of the pool between 7-00am and 8-00pm and games room. 30% deposit is due on booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. If you cancel, you will be liable for the total cost of the booking unless we can re-let to someone else. We advise that you take out cancellation insurance and can provide you with an application form. Bookings only become effective once we have written to you with confirmation. If for any reason beyond our control, the cottage becomes unavailable for letting before you arrive, we will refund all monies paid but accept no further responsibility for any other liability or compensation. The maximum number of persons in the cottage is 4 plus 1 child in a cot
