The open floor plan of this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit, allows the bedrooms and living area entry onto the spacious balcony where you will experience an with awesome view. Teak furniture adorns the balcony with seating for six. The kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances. and a beautifully tiled floor that extends into the laundry room/pantry and bunk areas. The adjoining laundry room/pantry has a large capacity hot water heater, stacked washer/dryer, and steel shelving for additional storage. All tableware, cooking utensils, bakeware, and small appliances are provided. The dining area has a large table with seating for eight. The open living room is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa, recliner/ottoman, swivel chair, 46' Vizio 3D LED LCD HDTV and DVD player, and a Vizio 5.1 soundbar, subwoofer, & satellite speakers for real surround sound. Both bedrooms, the master and guest, include king beds with memory foam mattresses, each with a 42' Vizio 3D LED LCD HDTV and DVD player, large private bath with garden tub and a seperate walk-in shower with a 6-way shower/massage head. The living and dining areas along with the bedrooms are carpeted. For additional accomodations, the unit offers a twin bunk room with memory foam mattresses and its own storage bench. coat rack, and privacy curtain. There is a half bath located off the main living area and near the bunk room. Entrance to the unit is via an interior hallway and conveniently located near the elevator.

Lanny and Ann Hutchison purchased this condo in 2012

My wife and I drove the entire coastline of Florida in January 2012 looking at areas where we may want to relocate and retire. After traveling the down the east coast and up the west we liked the beauty of the gulf coast and its proximity to Kentucky. The white sand beach, the emerald green water, and the feel of Waterscape was right for us. The amenities offered at Waterscape are unmatched and we can enjoy the condo with family and friends for years to come. Our current plan is to divide our residence between Kentucky and Florida. Goodbye to the very cold winters! And finally, what attracted us the most was the feeling that we could make this home. The rest is history!

WONDERFUL STAY IN PARADISE!

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas! Even though the weather outside could be a little frightful...the inside was definitely delightful! The accommodations were bar none! It is truly well equipped and lovely; you can really tell it's a home and not just a rental space. The condo is obviously equipped for comfort, quality and durability and not without expense. I was very pleased with the kitchen, the quality appliances and the thoughtful preparation that went in stocking Waterscape. The beds were so very comfortable. Even though we just had three people there, I know I could easily accommodate a larger group. Beautiful, scenic, and totally unbelievable sand! I hope to book this beautiful home again in the future! Truly an A+ vacation!

QUIET, RELAXING VACATION DESTINATION

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in your condo. We loved the location of the resort and found it to be very accommodating. We appreciated the code entry garage parking and the abundant number of elevators! The condo was "as advertised" and very clean when we arrived.
Things we enjoyed the most: king sized beds, large bathrooms/showers, spaciousness of the condo, view of the beach/pier from the balcony, very private aspect of the balcony and the awesome comfort of that recliner and foot stool! Things that would add value: cushions for dining chairs and outdoor furniture, more counter space (not much that can be done about that now) and better cable service (picture quality on most channels was not HD).
All that said, we would definitely come back to Waterscape and this unit! One tip that I would like to pass on to those staying in this unit...it is directly across from an elevator which opens to a garage access door on the first floor. We parked as close to this door as possible on the ground level of the garage and would take the elevator that opened right to our condo. Extremely convenient!
Restaurants we visited and enjoyed the most: Dewey Destin's (great seafood at very affordable prices), Maguire's Pub (cool atmosphere and affordable food), The Crab Trap (always consistently good seafood).
Overall another successful vacation at FWB! Thanks for the use of your beautiful condo!

The condominium association provides internet and cable service to all units at Waterscape. Unfortunately, the cable service is with limited HD channels. We will explore our options in that regard. Most streaming video via Netflix or Amazon Instant Video is in full HD and available on every TV in our unit.

WATERSCAPE WAS AWESOME!!

We loved the condo and Waterscape. It was cold for a couple of days and the heated pool was a blessing. We spent half the day at the pool and the afternoons at the beach. My wife liked the beachy décor in the condo. Everything was great.

We were first time VRBO's. Some advice, bring TP, dishwasher soap, paper towels, dish rags, and laundry detergent. Construction was still on going on the new hotel, but was not much of a bother and does not affect the view.

WE ALWAYS LOVE WATERSCAPE

Waterscape has been a family favorite for the past 3 years. The convenience to restaurants, the pools and accommodations are super. I was a tiny bit dissapointed with the condition of our unit. Typically everything is in tip top shape, but this time the carpet was in bad shape and the dishwasher almost completely fell out into the floor when I opened it to load. I have discussed the carpet issue with the owner and I understand that it is problem that he has been dealing with. I do think that the cleaners that are hired by Resort Quest could make the beds a bit more neatly. My observations are just tiny little quirks that did not affect my fantastic time with my family. We will return to Waterscape and possibly this unit in particular. Hopefully by next year, the construction next door will be complete.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to hear of any disappointment with our unit. We purchased this new unit in February 2012, never lived in, new carpet and new appliances and we got to decorate to suit our taste. Since it is our winter getaway, we wanted our unit to reflect our style and personality. We wanted a coastal décor so we changed the paint color and added furnishings in excess of $35,000. We continue to make upgrades to set our unit apart from others at Waterscape.

Since we are long distant owners, we must rely on ResortQuest, our management company, to handling the cleaning and minor maintenance of our unit. Like you, on our visits we have not always been completely satisfied with the results. We appreciate your feedback and have already brought these issues to the attention of the rental manager. We see this as an opportunity to address an issue and achieve the results we expect even if it warrant a change in our management company.

Okaloosa Island Pier and Florida's Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach is always a big hit with the young and young at heart. There are also many other family activities in Fort Walton Beach and neighboring Destin including the Big Kahuana's Waterpark and The Track.

If shopping peaks your interest, Harbor Walk Village; Destin Commons, an upscale open air mall; and Silver Sands Factory Outlet with over 100 designer brand name outlet stores are within a short drive.

Take a sightseeing cruise on a pirate ship, saling schooner, or visit one of the area's many museums, performing art theaters, or state parks.

There are many nearby restaurants located on Okaloosa Island and in Fort Walton Beach including Angler's Beachside Grill, Black Pearl, Caffe Italia, The Crab Trap Seafood & Oyster Bar; Floyd's Shrimp House, Fudpucker's Beachside Bar & Grille, High Tide Restaurant, Old Bay Steamer, and Pandora's Steakhouse.
