Welcome to the beach! The interior of this oceanfront condo is beautifully decorated with a wide open view of the Atlantic Ocean from the balcony which can be accessed through the living room or the master bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with upgraded appliances to include refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher and microwave. A coffee maker, blender, dishes, pots/pans, baking dishes, utensils, etc, also are furnished with the unit. There is also a washer and dryer in the hallway between the 2 bedrooms for your convenience!! This condo is on the 4th floor which enhances the ocean view!! But don't worry about the stairs...the building has a handicapped accessable elevator for easy access to the condo from the parking lot, swimming pool, tennis courts or the beach! No vacation would be complete without a swimming pool and tennis courts on site for your enjoyment!

Topsail Island is home to the loggerhead turtle and the brown sea pelican. Many vacationers have witnessed the turtles nesting and have scheduled a return to the island to view the hatching of nests. Egrets and waterfowl abound in the marshes, inlets and the other natural areas surrounding Topsail Island.

The name Topsail is said to have originated during the days of piracy. Pirates hid their ships in the channels behind the dunes and waited for passing merchant ships, which they would pursue and attack. As the freighters became wise to the pirates' intensions, they began watching for the tops of the pirates sails showing over the dunes. Thus the name 'Topsail Island'.

During the 1940's, Topsail Island hosted a Navy missile development program called Operation Bumblebee. This was the precursor to the NASA program that is now in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The Assembly Building in Topsail Beach was where the experimental missles were produced. The concrete towers you can see scattered around the island were observation towers for tracking these missiles.

Topsail Island has endless miles of clean, quiet beaches where you can collect shells, sculpt sandcastles, fly a kite, watch birds, sunbathe or gaze at the dolphins surfing at sunset. Cast out for a fish from the nearby fishing pier or fish for sea trout from the beach directly in front of the condo! You can also bike, kayak, golf or investigate the local history of famous pirates! Be sure to try one of Topsail Islands restaurants, gift shops or sports outlets.

We had a delightful visit at your lovely condo! We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves reading and taking in the lovely view. One great sunset was icing on the cake! We must commend and thank you for all the little extras that many owners do not bother to supply...beach towels and chairs, soaps and kitchen cookware and utensils that were of quality!!
