LISTEN TO THE MERMAIDS SING AT SUNSET COTTAGE - A LUXURY PROPERTY

We loved staying in this home. We chose it since we had family (2 adults and 2 children) that rented the house right next door. We could leave the gate in between open so we could access both the yards and swimming pools.
The beds were so comfortable, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the linens and towels (including beach towels) were top of the line. The kitchen was stocked with spices and condiments so we just had to worry about getting fresh groceries. It's located just minutes away from the Publix, Walgreen's and CVS Pharmacy which came in very handy.
There were six Tommy Bahama beach chairs with a beach cart and a selection of beach toys and pool noodles. The beach was just across the street and was very kid friendly. The kids loved playing in the pool and had a blast with the water fountains in it once they discovered the "secret" button. It wasn't deep so even my husband who doesn't swim enjoyed himself in it!
There were 4 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of room using the pullout sofa. It was great having three separate bathrooms to give everyone their privacy.
We enjoyed sitting outside with the chiminea burning the supplied wood, and listening to the calming waterfall feature. Even though it's on the main road you couldn't tell. It was so private and lush and the constant waterfall made it a relaxing retreat in the evening. There's even a portable speaker system to hook your ipod up to, DVD player, and tons of channels to choose from on the four tv's in the house. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat. Thanks Lauren for providing such fabulous accommodations!

This property was perfect for our family. We have two teenage children - boy and girl, and the layout of this house was ideal with each bedroom having it's own bath. Lauren has not overlooked a single detail in making this the best possible vacation rental - luxury sheets and towels, comfortable beds, large showers, and every room tastefully and comfortably decorated.

The kitchen was state-of-the-art and had everything we needed to to cook meals, but we did very little cooking and opted to dine out at the fantastic restaurants that were within walking distance, bike ride or a short drive of the cottage. Still, it was nice to have a good coffee pot for daily use and a well stocked kitchen for the few times that we did prepare meals.

We spent lots of time around and in the beautiful pool, which was heated to the perfect temperature. The landscaping and water wall make you feel very secluded, but just outside the gate is Gulf Street and access to the beach.

It was hard to say goodbye to Sunset Cottage and Anna Maria after a truly wonderful week. We look forward to returning again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset Cottage. Calling it a cottage is a misnomer. It is a well appointed home away from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed, the pool was refreshing, and the location was perfect!! We have already rebooked for next year. My only request for Lauren would be to possibly get a few beach chairs for her guests to use.
