Sit back and relax soaking up the Croatian relaxed way of life. This stunning apartment with its amazing views across the bay will put you in the Holiday mood. Eat out at one of the many fantastic restaurants all offering local fresh produce. The fish is amazing to eat as is the wine to drink. It won't cost you the earth for a fabulous meal here so you really can relax and be waited on. Car hire is easily available and can be arranged from the airports If you really want to get around. Take time to visit Trogir, Split and the KrKa National Park (all a must for a truly Croatian experience). There are local boat trips, diving and sailing on offer. Do as little or as much as you like from this perfect base offering a very high standard of accommodation - a real home from home. The apartment was brand new in 2008 so everything is modern and bright. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area and they all have spectacular sea views as does the main bedroom - there couldn't be a better view

Beach Lovers, hikers and families will all enjoy this lovely Island. The newly built modern 2 bedroomed furnished apartment offers a wonderful base for exploring Ciovo, Trogir and the Dalmation Coast. The Island is linked to Trogir the UNESCO World Heritage site via a bridge and Split Airport is a very short drive away (approx 10 min). You will be a few minutes walk to the main family beach with small bars and water activities. Quite coves and private beaches are a short walk or drive away. Easy walking access to local supermarkets, restaurants, Post Office, Doctor, pharmacy and local tourist information. Trogir has daily local produce and fish markets. Split (with its beautiful Roman Architecture and Diocletian Palace) is approx 25 mins drive away. Salona ruins are approx 25min drive away. Krka National Park (55 Sq miles of spectacular forests, lakes and waterfalls are 40 mins drive away. Boat excursions to neighboring islands can be arranged from Ciovo. Trogir.

  • The bathroom has a Jacuzzi shower enclosure which has various jets, lights and radio (there is no bath). There is a hand held attachment so children could be showered easily. There is a toilet and basin with mirror. There is also a heater in the bathroom.

  • There is a large double bed in the main bedroom which overlooks the beautiful view and balcony. The second bedroom is a similar size with 2 large single beds and a single put up bed. The Beds all have Bed linen provided. The bedrooms are both suitable to fit a travel cot in. Please advise if you require a travel cot to be provided. Please note no bed linen will be provided for the travel cot. There are large wardrobes in each bedroom with mirror sliding doors. There are also bedside tables and lamps.

Notes: The apartment is very bright and spacious with wooden flooring to all rooms except the bathroom which is all tiled. The bedrooms have good storage and very comfortable beds. The main bedroom has a sliding door opening onto the balcony. The kitchen is very modern with good storage. The lounge area is open plan with fantastic views across the bay. There are large sliding doors out of the living area/kitchen onto the balcony. There is a TV with satellite connection. The bathroom is airy and bright with a fantastic jacuzzi shower cubicle. We are on the ground floor with one flight of stairs (approx 5 steps) to get to our apartment. There is a large balcony with garden furniture. There is a small set of steps leading from the balcony to the garden. This is a private garden for our apartment. There is a barbecue and loungers for the garden area. Everything in the apartment is new and all to a high standard for a really comfortable holiday.

Travel: The small airport of Split is approx 8km away. Direct flights from Luton, Stansted and Gatwick. Airlines to try are Easyjet, Ryanair,Wizz Air and BA. Zadar airport is approx a 1hr 30 mins drive away with a very easy drive on virtually empty toll roads for most of the journey. A local bus service operates locally around the Island and links up with the service operating between Sibenik and Split. A regular inexpensive network of Ferries operates to the many Croatian popular destinations eg Hvar, Brac, Korcula and Dubrovnik from Split.

The views from this stunning and well equipped apartment are spectacular and also sunsets are gorgeous. This apartment is very comfortable with air conditioning and everything that you need for your stay. The apartment is situated not far from the center of the village where there are shops, bars and restaurents all within walking distance, there is a post office as well so changing your money into local currency is no problem at all or you can always drive into Trogir for a different feel with luxurious boats in the harbour with bars and restaurent along quay side or you can stay at the apartment and bbq and just sit on the terrance and watch the sun go down with a nice glass of wine. The city of Trogir it self is worth a visit to walk through the oldest part of the city but be warned do not wear high heels - not a good idea, there are some very nice restaurants to choise from varing in price according to taste. There are many beaches to choise from if you are prepared to go exploring, some beaches are within walking distance of the apartment. The lady who greets you at this apartment is very helpful if there is anything you need to find out she will always be of help to you. You are left with a greeting pack which is brilliant because at least you can make a drink when you arrive and not have to go shopping straight away. All in all if you would like a relaxing holiday this Ciovo apartment is just the ticket.

Wir waren zu dritt vom 28.6. bis 8. Juli 09 in dieem Appartement und waren begeistert. Der unglaubliche Blick von der Terrasse über die gesamte Bucht, der lebendige Urlaubsort Okrug (15 min. zum Strand mit tollen Strandbars - 25 min. zu abgelegenen Badebuchten auf der anderen Seite!), sehr gut sortierte Supermärkte als Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Mit den Wassertaxis sind im Halbstunden-Takt die herrlichen Städte Trogir und Split erreichbar. Anfang Juli waren die Temperaturen noch nicht hochsommerlich, was uns sehr entgegen kam. Die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter war sehr unkompliziert und fair. Dieses Appartement würde ich jederzeit im Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen und wieder besuchen.
