It is one of the last real southern California beach towns that has not been changed by developers. There are surf shops to rent equipment & several cafes with outside dining. In addition, there are two oceanfront parks, one Fed/State Wildlife Refuge, and many miles of open wide sandy beaches. The San Diego Zoo & Sea World are only 20-25 minutes away by car. The owner's family have been part of the Imperial Beach community since 1943. All we can say is we love this beach !!!
