The Village of Westhampton Beach is located on the scenic south shore of Long Island, in the eastern end of Suffolk County approximately 78 miles from midtown Manhattan. New York State Route 27A and County Road 31 (exit 63 South from Sunrise Highway) both traverse the Village. Francis S. Gabreski Airport is located just within the village, on its southern boundary. Westhampton Beach has a lively Main Street downtown area featuring a great bakery, new and classic boutiques, cafes, bistros and Zagat-rated restaurants as well as a state-of-the-art performing arts facility that brings the best acts of the entertainment world to its stage. In 2011, Westhampton Beach Farmer's Market was voted the Best East End Farmer's Market in Dan's Papers Best-of-the Best Competition. The village is very water centric with its yacht basin and marina, Moniebogue Canal weaving up to the back parking lot of Main Street and dual drawbridges at Beach Lane and Jessup Lane providing access to the superb white sugar sand of the Atlantic Ocean on the barrier beach portion of the village most commonly referred to as Dune Road (where this vacation property is located). On Dune Road, enjoy waterfront dining and live music at Docker's Waterside, the Saltwater Grill at the Dune Deck Hotel and John Scott's Surf Shack.
