Enjoy your relaxation in the private pool of each villa in a beautiful garden full of Cretan trees and herbs that give a unique and sensual fragrance of the Cretan land, or have a romantic diner al fresco in the big veranda next to the private swimming pool. And if you wish to visit the wonderful beach, all you have to do is walk just 3 minutes to Platanias sandy beach with it clear blue water. This beach is also awarded with the Blue Flag.

On the ground floor(55m²) of each villa you will have a fully equipped luxury kitchen with refrigerator, electric oven and ceramic plateau, microwave oven, multi coffee maker, toaster, juicer, dishwasher, air condition and independent heating system for the winter. In the living room you can enjoy watching the satellite LCD TV. DVD, audio stereo system, as well as the fire place during the cold winter days. You will have special relaxation moments in the bedroom with its king size bed, the romantic bed cloths and the sensual candle lighting reflecting on the stone walls. Also in the bedroom there is a TV set and a stereo system.In the sun bright bathroom you can relax in the jacuzzi bathtub and considering your personal needs we have at your disposal hair dryer, a personal treatment kit, towels, bathrobes and slippers. As you walk up the stairs from the living room, you get to the attic(13m²) of the house with its bedroom, which can be changed from a king size bed to two single beds.

Rock Houses Villas are in the most touristy village of Chania prefecture, Platanias. It is only 3 minutes walking distance from a sandy beach which is unfolded in an extent of many kilometres and in which the visitor enjoys moments of relaxation in isolated beaches, moments of adventure with water sports in the well-organised beaches or moments of frantic amusement in innumerable beach bars. The village of Platanias, which in combination with its preferential place in the prefecture and the splendid beaches, is classified as one of the most touristic parts of Greece and you can find all services needed. Here you will find banks and ATM machines, post office doctor’s office, drug-stores, super markets, commercial shops and shops with touristic types and souvenirs, a lot of playground areas and mini golf, restaurants, cafeterias, bars, clubs, as well as live music scenes. There is also regular transportation urban and long distance and a taxi station.

  • In order to proceed to the booking of the villa a 25% of the total stay is required. Balanced amount should be received 20 days prior the arrival to the villa. Reservations made within 20 days or less from the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. A 300euros refundable damage/loss deposit is required with the booking deposit.
  • THE ABOVE PRICES ARE THE NEW PRICES WHICH HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO A 40% DISCOUNT.
    An extra person can be accommodated in the cool lower level of the villa on a sofa bed. There is also a full en-suite jetted shower bathroom.
    Daily cost for extra person accommodated on a sofa bed, in the cool lower level of the villa with the en-suite Jetted Shower bathroom according to the rental period as indicated bellow:

It is amazing when you go through the wooden door entrance to the property, leaving behind you the lively village of Platanias and finding yourself in an environment civilized, quiet, at your lovely doll house and beautiful garden. We are a family of four and we had a fantastic holiday in Villa Rhapsody. The villa lived up to the description, a high standard property with everything you need, from bathrobes to slippers! The owner and her family are lovely people they gave attention to detail when designing this Villa. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The villas was clean, bright and welcoming, which made our stay pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing, we only wished we had booked it for 2 weeks instead of one!

We stayed two weeks in Rock Houses Villa Rhapsody in september 2009 (4 adults and a 1,5 year old child). It was EXCELLENT! New villa with all the things we could hope for: beautiful villa, nice kitchen, own pool, own yard, wonderful and helpful owners and ideal location of the villa! Thank you very much for making our vacation something we will remember for a long time! And we will definately recommend Rock Houses to anyone who is going Crete!

Coming back for the second time, we spent the perfect holidays we will be remembering of all year long.
In a city where you can find anything from shopping to entertainement at night, Rock Houses is a very quiet place, and is worth a 5 star hotel.

We had a excellent time in the villa. It was an oasis in Platanias. The villa was of very high quality, it was equipped with everything we needed. The property was very clean and very well maintained. The welcome basket with homemade treats was very well received. Would recommend this property to a friend.

A piece of paradise.

We went to villa Rhapsody with my family and it was really incredible. We stay there 18 days. The villa was clean and everything was well-maintained. The owner was really nice with us, always available, friendly with always little things for us or for the kids. In the basement, we had a lot of toys for our girls (3). Everything is close to the villa (beach, bakery, restaurants). If you want to travel around Crete it is a good point to start to go everywhere. Don't miss to go there....we dream to go there again...
