This spacious private fully air conditioned villa is located on Rua do Cerro which is in the beautiful fishing village of Carvoeiro. A stroll of 500m will bring you to the beach and square. Due to its proximity to the village a car is not necessary. There is a minimart 100m from the villa and a municipal market that sells fresh fish and produce 250m. There is a large private pool and gardens with plenty of areas for sunbathing or indeed shady areas. The living and dining rooms overlook the shaded terrace and swimming pool so children can be easily supervised. The four bedrooms are all good sized, three of them have twin beds while the master bedroom is ensuite. There are two additional bathrooms. You will find the kitchen fully equipped with full sized cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, juicer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine and tumble drier etc.There is a barbecue to enjoy. There is Satellite T.V , DVD players and Internet access

Vila Elizabete is located on Rua do Cerro which is in Carvoeiro. Please note that on Google map Carvoeiro centre is marked in the wrong place! The beach and 'Square' are actually located at the bottom end of Rua do Pescadores. The beach at Praia do Carvoeiro is 500 m away and the nearest mini mart is 150m. Also located close to the Vila is the Municipal Market (300m) and the centre of Carvoeiro is 350m away.also two other beaches within walking distance Praia do Paraiso and Vale Covo. The vila holds a Licença de Utilização Turística (Tourist Licence) and is fully compliant for rentals. Slide and Splash (5 minute drive) Zoomarine, Aqualand and Algarve Shopping (20 to 30 minute drive). Numerous golf courses (5 to 10 minute drive). Scuba Diving and tennis available in Carvoeiro.Also Horse riding (15 minute drive). Visit Monchique and the historic city of Silves.

Vila Elizabete is a superb house set in generous grounds in a lovely residential area of Carvoiero. There is a large swimming pool beside the covered outside eating area which allows all age groups to be together, either in the sun or out. The property is clean, cared for and is well maintained. A maid comes in regularly for basic duties and the gardens are well looked after.
The town is a short distance from the main area of the town down a fairly steep hill (there is no escaping hills in Carvoeiro), but also an excellent shop just along the road for quick household supplies. A bonus to renting this house is there is no real need for a car because most things are on your doorstep. The bus service is good and not too expensive. I planned to rent a car for a couple of days to see along the coast, but in the end didn't bother having taken the bus to nearby towns.
There is a small beach just beside the main town square which is ideal for all age groups with lots of cafes and eating places nearby.
Eating places I would recommend having vistited them in May 2008 are; for lunch - The Tapas Bar beside the main square; for everyday evening meals The Vimar Grill and Antonios both on the Estrada do Farol, and for a more special meal Primavera at the top end of the Estrada do Farol.
I have every confidence recommending this property to anybody looking for a large holiday house in Carvoeiro. The owner renting this villa is excellent. I received prompt reliable, honest and very informative communication which helped the planning of my holiday. Do not hesitate -book now.

Fantastic villa

What a fantastic villa just a short walk into the town so no need for a car, the villa was really lovely very well equiped and very easy to live in there was a lovely pool and garden area which our small daughter loved. All of the bedrooms were a great size with lots of wardrobe space and all very clean. The bedroom upstairs was lovely with its own terrace. The owner was very helpful and answered any queries promptly the villa information pack was also really useful. We have been to Portugal many times but never to this area but we have totally fell in love with Carvoeiro and found the town to be really family friendly with a lovely small beach. We found the municipal market about 5 mins walk from the villa was really useful it sold fruit/veg and fresh fish and meat and also the supermarkets in Carvoeiro were all well stocked so need need to go out of town if you wanted to be really lazy!! we will definately return and would have no hesitation in recommending Vila Elizabete to our family and friends.

Superb large private villa in Carvoeiro

What a find. It is so nice to stay somewhere so close to everything you need. Minimart a few houses away. Beach a comfortable stroll. Town the same. No arguments about whose turn it is to drive.
The house itself is large and very comfortable. I liked the seats inside for my bad back!!!! What great design that the pool is visible from living area and shaded patio area where you can watch what is happening!
All the different areas be it terraces or garden you can go to to get away from the others in your party if you like.
Owner so helpful and a great holiday information pack supplied so you can find your way from airport and about Carvoeiro.
Cant wait to go back again

Most comfortable holiday ever!!!

We recently stayed in Villa Elizabete Carveiro, a family of five with three teenagers aged 17, 19 and 20. To say this house hit all our needs would be an understatement, each day we planned trips but when the sun shone and the pool was so convenient and inviting I'm afraid we spent more time having a ball in the pool and reading on the loungers. What hit us most was the sheer comfort of the villa, with digital English tv, broadband access, maid service was fantastic and the gardeners keeping the place immaculate but unobtrusively made it home from home. The advice in the brochure left it such an easy holiday that we felt completely spoiled as the advice was accurate and the resturant recommendations was dead on. From a romantic perspective keep the children down the stairs and there is a beautiful secluded balcony upstairs available 24/7. At night we hit the restaurants and local pubs for entertainment and the walk home was good crack (after a few glasses of wine). I can only say that it broke my heart leaving this villa at the end of one week, and we will definitely be going back!
