Quiet, private retreat

My family (self, husband, 2yr old and dog) stayed here for 6 nights. We found the studio to be clean, cozy and nicely decorated. The AC was nice to have during the peak heat of the day. There was a cool ocean breeze every morning and afternoon. Evenings were comfortable with the window fan. Kitchen was nicely laid out and had everything we needed. Keep in mind there's no dishwasher, must wash dishes after every meal as the sink is small. Bathroom has shower only, so no baths for little ones. We did showers, and it worked out fine. Water pressure and hot water was great. Hose and sprayer was available for cleaning up outside after the beach. Carpet in sleeping / living area was okay, hard to keep it clean of sand.
The owners were welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. Owner was very understanding when our dog vomited on the carpet (too much beach debris and salt water) and provided cleaners and equipment. Wi-fi was spotty, but largely didn't need it. Good Information provided about area attractions.
We have been to the Outer Cape several times. This was the first time in a rental. I would recommend this one to couples or small families. While our dog was allowed, next time I would leave the dog with family.
Owner's Response: Thanks for the review and happy you enjoyed your stay. We have since provided a better vacuum to go along with the dust devil, a tray to fill with water to rinse off shoes, and still have the hose at the bottom of the stairs. We have not heard of any further problems with the WiFi since your stay and had bought a new dual band wireless router for the season. Everyone we have asked since has been able to connect with phones and/or laptops. Being our first year renting we allowed 2 dogs and while we have had minimal problems with them we are unsure what our policy will be moving forward and plan to review at the end of the season.
