Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Beautifully furnished and decorated, all brand new.

15 minutes to Squaw, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, 25 minutes to Lake Tahoe and 40 minutes from Reno Airport, and 3 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. Our home offers privacy and relaxation.

Located in Tahoe Donner, a residential resort community in Truckee, our home is within 5 minutes to Tahoe Donner amenities including:

Winter Activities: cross-country ski center, Tahoe Donner Ski resort, 2 recreation centers with pool, fitness center, sledding hill and snowplay area.

Summer Activities: heated swimming pools, sauna and family hot tubs at Trout Creek Rec Center, golf course, private beach (Tahoe Donner Beach Club) and boat launch/rentals on Donner Lake, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, equestrian center, archery, tennis courts

As a guest of Northwoods, you will have guest privileges to the Tahoe Donner activities (some activities have a nominal guest fee).

When you enter the home, you will walk into an open, spacious living room with high vaulted ceilings. The home is newly furnished and outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen.

Two of the bedrooms have a King sized beds, the third bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with trundles to sleep a total of 10 comfortably.

In the backyard, there is a small sledding hill and a deck to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

All linens, towels, and toiletries included.

There is also a washer and dryer available for your use during your stay.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Non-smoking home.

Why Ellen chose Truckee

We love Tahoe, the snow in the winter time and the hikes in the summer time. We wanted a place not too far where we could escape from the daily routine of the San Francisco Bay Area.

What makes this cottage unique

The home is very relaxing and quiet. We love that the home backs up to an area that is safe for the kids and allows them hours of entertainment and outdoor activities.

Our group of 7 stayed at this beautiful rental in the Tahoe-Donner area. The house is clean, bright, well decorated and just like the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is new. There were 2 king beds and a set of bunk beds with trundles that could sleep a total of 10 people. The bunk bed room had its own bathroom and what a nice bathroom. The luxurious linens, down comforters and fluffy towels were an extra bonus. It's rare to find such a nice rental in the Tahoe area. We'll be back!

Perfect for a Retreat!

Our group absolutely loved this house! The location is fantastic, and the house is in excellent condition - much nicer than the average rental! It's refreshing to see a rental in the Tahoe area where the decor is modern and clean, and the layout of the house is perfect for spending time with a group. We didn't have time to use a lot of the amenities, but there were a lot of options available to us in the area, and the proximity to the grocery store was fantastic. We'll definitely return for a longer trip next time!

Perfect for our group!

I was in need of a nice rental property for a long weekend trip with my brothers in the Truckee area. It's always a crap shoot to go on photos alone but this home turned out to be exactly what we needed. We were a modest group of 6 in town to fish the Truckee River. The house had everything we needed: ample sleeping space, large dining room table for meals and playing cards, wireless, garage, deck with a chimney style fireplace that was great in the evening, and that sledding hill also came in handy as we hit the first snow of the season. I can't speak to the proximity to local hills but it was a short 5-10 minute drive to some great fishing access, which we appreciated. Thanks for a great weekend!

Tastefully furnished, cozy and clean Tahoe home!

We had a wonderful time staying at your beautifully and tastefully decorated Tahoe rental. This is a perfect place for families or boys/girls getaway weekends. Everything was perfect down to the wonderfully stocked kitchen with anything an avid cook would need to whip up gourmet meals and then matching dinnerware to serve them on. Even your cutlery is a full matching set. Impressive! The beautiful comfortable red leather couches were perfect to curl up on to read or watch movies from the big flat screen tv. The big square dining table comfortably seated eight and was very conducive for conversations. I loved the clean beautifully remodeled bathrooms with plush matching fluffy towels. Lastly all the bedrooms were comfortable with warm down comforters. I'm so impressed with how wonderfully you've furnished your vacation home! I'd definitely stay here again!
