Adorable, one bedroom cottage in a great location! All new renovated beach cottage very comfortable and tastefully decorated new bath.All new carpets~paint ~ new furniture . Cottage has deck and a small backyard for your privacy. A perfect place to relax and cook out. There is an AC unit in the living room window that cools the whole cottage if necessary. Located on a quiet side street just a short walk to Newport's Easton's Beach (a.k.a. First Beach). First Beach has public facilities, a carousel, playground and twice weekly evening entertainment. It is a great area for walking, running, biking, rollerblading, surfing and kayaking. All equipment available to rent nearby. Restaurants are within walking distance and downtown Newport is only 1.5 miles away. This is the perfect get away~ your home away from home. Property is managed by the owner who lives on the Island .

The owner has recently renovated a 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage adjacent to this cottage available June 1 for $1200 per week plus $100 cleaning fee. please inquire if dates are filled for the front cottage.

Owner has a 32 sportfish for charter~ full or half day sightseeing or fishing. Catered lunch or dinner available. Please call for details.

This cottage is located on Easton’s Point off Purgatory Road just a short walk from Newport’s Easton’s Beach and ocean, 2 minute drive and 10 minute walk to 2nd Beach, 3 minute drive to 3rd Beach, 3 minute drive to Sachuest Point, 10-15 minute drive to Bailey’s Beach and ocean drive depending on traffic on Bellevue Avenue, 1 minute walk to The Atlantic Beach Club, 1 mile to Bellevue Avenue shopping, dining, and mansions, art galleries and museums and 2 miles to downtown Thames St., yachting center, wharfs, shopping, art galleries, restaurants, golfing and sailing. My home is also walking distance to Cliff Walk ¾ mile, many great restaurants, entertainment and a few shops. It is easy driving for groceries and other stores.

We're from Brazil and decided to spend vacation in Newport. We loved it. It's a perfect place. The kitchen is well equipped, all new, with everything we needed, even a lobster pan. Grilling on the deck was a "must" . The cottage had everything you possible need . It's nicelly decorated, neat, clean, well furnished, confortable and with a warm, loving touch in every room. The owner was very pleasant , honest, a lovely person. It's located in a nice , beatifull and quiet neiborhood, near beach, restaurants and everything you want to visit in Newport. If it's availiable the next time we go to Newport, we won't hesitate a second to rent it again, because it was absolutelly perfect. A great place and we had a perfetc time. We would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay in this bright clean charming property. The Pictures are a. accurate and all amenities are as promised. A special Thank You to Pete for the lovely bouquet. A great location close to beaches but still in a quiet area. We hope to return soon.

This cottage was a perfect fit for our needs with 2 adults and 2 teens. It was charming with all the amenities of home and a short walk to beach and restaurants. The Newport mansions and shopping area were also within a reasonable walking or biking distance. Owner was very hospitable, accomodating and nearby, in the event of any issues (there were none). We'll be back.
