Main part of the studio is at ground level. Comprising lounge/dinner, kitchen, utility & shower room, separate wc. On the upper level via the spiral staircase is a double bedroom with 360 degree stunning views, so beautiful to relax in, leading onto the sun terrace to take a glass of wine or practice yoga 'salute to the sun'. Separate to the main studio is the courtyard wing, a double/twin bedroom with separate shower, washbasin & wc room. The second room is a lounge with a dvd player or it can be used as a bedroom for baby, you may hire baby items. We have Claire who will take care of the studio to make your stay comfortable and Mark & Maggie who care for the garden & natural plunge pool. E Studio Cielo is a fabulous rustic retreat to enjoy all year holiday, whether you use the wood burner to heat earthenware dishes on top to keep tapas warm, or over a glass of wine, read a book, paint the turquoise lake with shadows falling along the face of the mountain or just listen to the birds.

The studio is 45 minutes from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes drive to Torre del Mar with its beautiful promenade, beach, marina with many restaurants and shops and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The studio stands in an acre of gardens, just a kilometre off the main road. Outlook is rural although there are villas in the lane which gives a sense of community. There are two restaurant bars situated at the Lake side so you can walk via track about 15 minutes walk or car journey via main road 5 minutes, or you can drive to Los Romanes village 5 minutes by car and enjoy the wonderful food at charcoal restaurant or use the local mini supermarket. This area is classified as outstanding natural beauty, 30 minutes from Nerja and one and half hours from the snow fields of the Sierra Nevada and the famous Granada´s Alhambra Palace in Andalucia. Alcauciñ village 20 miutes and National Park area are situated at the foothills of Sierra Tejeda Mountains.

  • The rental rate includes all linen, towels and services IE gas and electric.
    We have stated high and low season prices, but we would offer a special price for more than two week rental. The studio villa is well euipt and we only have dvd player via tv, there is no spanish or sky tv. We recommend that you bring your DVDs if you have children.
    We don´t have a swimming pool but we have a small plunge pool to sit and relax, which is situated in the lower terrace of the garden.
  • On booking a deposit will be taken and then 10 weeks before your holiday date final payment should be paid and a security deposit which is refundable after your holiday.
    If you need to disgust requirements please email we shall be glad to help.
  • On booking 2 weeks we can offer 10% off the second week.

Bathroom two - Is situated on the ground floor of the studio, the toilet and wash hand basin with mirror and hanging space for coats. Bathroom three - Is in the courtyard wing centre to bedroom onside and lounge / bedroom for baby. This bathroom has shower, toilet and wash hand basin. There is also a shower in what we call the utility room.

  • Bedroom one -- is on the upper level of the studio villa. Via the spiral staircase leading to balcony patio this room has spectacular 360 degrees views, a view to wake up every morning while on holiday. This bedroom has a seperate wc and washbasin very handy when you wake in the middle of the night. The bedroom can accommodate a baby travel cot if you wish and you may make enquiries through Claire and she can give all details of the hire of nursery items. The bedroom has ceiling fan for cooling and the wood burner downstairs to keep you warm. A calor gas water heating system. On the patio there is table and chairs to sit and view the scenery or lounge at your pleasure. As for yoga people you may wish to take the opportunity and exercise 'Salute to the Sun' facing the magnificent Sierra Tejeda as the sun rises over the mountain, we have one yoga mat at the studio.

Notes: The out door pool is natural its different to the standard pool. The pool size is not for swimming it is more for the days you want to plunge and cool down. There are no chemicals and is maintained on a regular basis, the plunge pool is situated on the lower terrace of the garden where you can view the lake and spectacular mountain. Also there is BBQ facility for sitting or you may wish to lounge. As for daily maid service and babysitting facilities are available as required and should be paid for by the guests directly to Claire. This service can be prearranged. Wheelchair access to the courtyard bedroom would need to be prearranged with Claire.

Alcauciñ village and national Park: Alcauciñ is a typical white village buildings in the heart of the Axarquia region and has 5 spouts fountain where the water is constantly flowing, located in the centre of the village. It is situated at the foothills of Sierra Tejeda, a national park today. The park amenities and wildlife are an important local feature - the locality is a haven for bird watching, painting, photography or writing and joyful hill walking. The herd of sheep and goats with the bells ringing out their presence and under watchful eye of the shepherd and his dog, as they make there way most days past the villa boundaries.

Estrella events is a service which is highly recommended for an activity you may require to your personal taste, you may log on to the site and view or make contact with Claire as she can give you details of an activity of your choice. At the studio we have maps and books for your interest to use while at your stay. Please enquire of car rental via Claire or if you have a choice we do recommend a 4x4 as when leaving the main road it is a track lane, so not to have a car which is low.

Golf: Golfing is available on many courses within 1 hour´s drive, the nearest is Bavaria Golf a 20 minute drive. But we shall be very happy if you would like more details.
