Upon your arrival, the Palm Tree lined Boulevard will lead you to your private 2700 square foot beach house! Soon, the sounds, smells, and breezes of the ocean will beckon you to take a one block stroll to one of 2 beach accesses which lead you down the sandy path, over the dunes and ... ahhhh ... THE ATLANTIC OCEAN and award winning beaches welcome you! It is 241 of my steps from the front door to the beach!!
After a day or walk on the beach you're just another short stroll back to your house, where a refreshing outside shower and shaded, fenced backyard awaits. Then its relaxing with family and friends!
And your family dog is welcome to join the fun! Dogs love our refreshing outside shower and the nicely shaded fenced backyard after a romp on the beach!
But there is more! If boating, fishing or water excursions are your forte, the Isle of Palms Marina is 1 mile away and full of possibilities! Including a boat ramp.
Golf, tennis, a day at the spa? Wild Dunes Resort is just 1 mile away!
Restless kids? The Isle of Palms Recreation Department is just one block with many activities, dogs included!
Hungry? You don’t even have to leave the island for fresh local seafood! We can personally recommend at least 5 of our favorites that are about 4 minutes from your front door, or 6 minutes away into Mt. Pleasant.
Movies or shopping? Mt. Pleasant Town Centre is about 6 minutes away or downtown Charleston is about 20. Movie & dinner? Cinnebarre at Mt. Pleasant is about 15 minutes away.
Live music? Locally at the Windjammer, Acme Cantina, Banana Cabana (see map) or Morgan Creek Grille at the Isle of Palms Marina.
At the end of your day?
Private masters suite upstairs with king bed, 2 person jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink, large walk in closet, sun room and sun deck.
Downstairs has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds (kids room or young at heart), den with pull out sofa, 2 full baths, 3 den areas. Your spacious dining area opens to the kitchen, den and backyard.
This is your perfect Island getaway!
Because this is our family home, rentals are only available to families or adult groups. No house parties or renters under the age of 21. Thank You.

This house was perfect for our 3-generation girls trip! The house was as charming as it looked in the pictures. It was very roomy and just a very short walk to the beach. We can't wait to come back!
We were very happy with the house and the location of the property. It was well appointed, very clean and well stocked so we were right at home. We were a multi-generational family (ages 18 months to 70 years) and everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. Lori was a very attentive and open making our stay as pleasant as possible. 1 block from the beach; 1 block from the recreational center with lots of things to do. Our dog enjoyed the back yard and the there was plenty of room for all 10 vacationers without being overly crowded. I would recommend the house for both the property and the caring attention the owners give to each of their guest.
We had a family group come to this home, with five kids age 10 and under. It fit us to a T because of the lovely 4-bed "kid's room" and the arrangement of the other rooms which included a large quiet suite upstairs. The large kitchen table seated 10 plus a high chair for the toddler. The yard was shady and fenced, the walk to the beach was short, and there was a fantastic playground at the rec center a block and a half away. If you need to take a quick trip to the grocery store, there is a Harris Teeter close by, and you can actually walk there if you are so inclined.
Everything was clean, bright and comfortable and the owners were super nice and helpful. Oh, and the beach at Isle of Palms is great, too. HIghly recommend!
This was our third rental house on IOP and our best yet. This year, my brother and his family joined us and this home, with two master bedrooms with king beds, was ideal for us.
The house is clean and very well maintained, very much as it is pictured. It is spacious and allowed plenty of room for 4 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 10-11 year-old girls and our dog - despite the large group, we never felt crowded. Everyone seemed to find their "favorite" space to play, read, and enjoy being on vacation.
A few highlights:
- the upstairs master suite is fantastic, with a huge room, vaulted ceilings, spacious mater bath (including large whirlpool tub) and a wonderful sun room with its own porch
- the landscaping is lovely and well-maintained, with mature trees and plenty of shade; the shady, fenced-in backyard was lovely, especially for our dog
- the kitchen is modern, spacious and, along with the open dining room, nicely positioned as the center of activity in the house (we also enjoyed having the laundry room just off this space, as we had more or less constant flow of beach towels)
- location is a short walk from the beach, and also an easy bike ride to the grocery and downtown IOP
- the owners are friendly and attentive; the house was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and Lori was responsive to emails before and during our stay
We had a wonderful time and certainly would recommend this house, especially for large/multi-family groups.
Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was wonderful. I loved the convenience of the fenced in back yard for my small dog. He loved sitting outside. We had six adults in our party and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Truly a wonderful place to stay with many amenities and a close walk to the beach!
Two families of four (4 adults, 4 children) stayed here. The house was impeccable upon arrival and even nicer than the pictures. The beach path was very accessible and the distance was reasonable, even for four children all ages 6 and under. The house has all of the amenities of home, including a perfectly stocked kitchen. We were also pleasantly surprised about all of the "starter" items included, like dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. I would definitely recommend staying at this house!
1 block to 2 beach accesses, I mile to the Isle of Palms Marina, 1 mile to Wild Dunes Resort, 1 block to Isle of Palms Recreation Department.
***20 minutes to Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes to Airport.
