Great honeymoon location

After a frantic wedding week it was great to relax in this fantastic guest house. The bedrooms are on different levels, which were great with our daughter, as we both got some space and peace and quiet. The facilities are excellent, everything is very modern and comfortable, with free fast wi-fi (much better/faster than the hotels we stayed in with a resort fee). The outdoor space was the best part, lots of different tables and chairs to make use of as the sun moved round the house, as well as a BBQ and a really nice hot tub in the back, which was great for evenings under the stars.
Vicki was extremely helpful throughout the booking process, we are from the UK, so she made everything very easy and was great, with a very helpful guide on how to use everything in the house, as well as recommendations for the surrounding areas. She left a nice bottle of wine and some chocolate out for when we arrived, which was a nice touch.
About a 10-15 minute drive into Monterey and the surrounding areas, which was good. Not far enough to be a hassle, but far enough to have fantastic weather even if the coast is a bit foggy.
There is also a fantastic store on the freeway just before you turn off to the house, great service and great cheese selection.
Extremely happy with our stay, would highly recommend.
