My husband and I would highly recommend Kachira as your "home away from home" while staying on the beautiful Island of St. John. From booking through Tom and talking to him on the phone I could tell he wanted to do anything to accomodate us during our stay. When we got off the ferry Alex was there to greet us and took us straight to the market for a few groceries. He was a very sweet young man who like his dad went out of his way to make sure everything was okay. He even came back the next day to take us to get our jeep. Thank you Alex for being such a great host and bringing us an extension cord so we could vacuum out the sand in our jeep rental. Everything was great the whole week. All in all, I would (and hope to) definitely come back to Kachira again.

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband & I just returned from our stay at the Kachi Ra condo in St. John. We had a fabulous time and the villa fit our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend renting a car to get around the island. Even though the villa is just 1 mile from town, the road isn't a safe walk. We met another group of vacationers and one of the locals at the pool while hanging out in the late afternoons so we enjoyed having that experience as well. Alex was a very friendly and reliable greeter to us during our stay. I would recommend this property to others.

Relaxing St John vacation

We've stayed at a variety of locations on the island and was very pleased with Kachi Ra. Thanks Alex for everything from lugging my very heavy luggage up the stairs to making sure I had a blowdryer. Nice views and everything we needed at a vacation property. I would highly recommend to a couple just wanting to relax and chill out away from town but close enough to enjoy it anytime you wish.

Lovely place

This condo is beautiful. Very nicely laid out, only a few steps to the pool, terrific deck. Alex and Amy were great and did everything they could to help us out. My husband was sick (stomach bug) right after we arrived. And we couldn't get the tv to work. I messaged Amy and Alex and we tried everything but I guess the cable box was broken. The next morning they brought us up some Pepto Bismal and took the cable box. It was fixed by the time we got back from the beach that day. This place is very quiet and peaceful. When they say they recommend you have a car, BELIEVE them! it's a bit of hike from the condo to the main road, where you have to flag down a taxi. This place is great for a family or 2 couples.

I would recommend Kachira Ra for your next stay on St John! The newly remodeled villa is perfect for honeymooners or a small family of 4. I would recommend the property include in their amenities an iron and ironing board. Also, we were there when tropical storm Rafael was scheduled to hit, so we prepared our fridge with food but had we lost power, there were no candles, flashlights, or for us, we just wanted to play some board games. Thank goodness all we got was a good down pour of rain, we were back at Cinnamon the next day. Thank you for a terrific place to stay!
