The right place for families

We, a family with 3 kids (1, 3 and 7 yrs), have enjoyed our stay very much and can only recommend this appartment.
The appartment is on the fifth floor that is accessible by two elevators. It is literally located directly at the beach - about 30 meters with no buildings or roads in between. It is very clean, tidy and in a very good & modern shape and ideal for a family as it provides lots of space, very large balcony, baby bed and seat, fully equipped kitchen (incl. microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer), washer, room cleaning equipment (no vacuum cleaner though), TV / DVD (Hint: the TV network consists of spanish channels only, some offer v.o. option, so bring your own entertainment if you need), etc.
The sleeping rooms are nice and offer a lot of space for your personal stuff, as each one has large closets. The beds are large enough and clean. The mattresses are as quite usual for spain, rather softish for my taste, but not extremely - at least not on a level one couldn't cope with.
There are two rather small bath rooms both with washstand and toilet, but rather scarce stacking space. The first additionally offers tub and bidet, the other comes with a shower. With the latter you need a bid careful not to flood the room when taking a long shower.
The living room is really large and offers a very comfortable couch and a large dining table, which we never used, because the wheather and the temperatures were very nice throughout our stay.
The large balcony is a real highlight offering a very nice view down south-east. There are, however, no full-height protection grid (very small children should stay observed) and no blinders, so that it can be a bit exposed to the sun in the morning hours, but this is really no major issue.
The best about it all is that the family of the hirer just lives on the other side of the street. They are very lovely and helpful whenever you need something.
The outside area is very calm (no main roads or discos), well protected, very clean and offers free pool, showers and tennis courts.
The beach is one of the nicest in the area anyway: very large, fine sand and probably about 5 km long. It is very flat, so our eldest one could easily walk more than 50 m into the sea.
If you go there off-season (we've stayed for the first 2 weeks in Oct.) you should come by car since a lot of stores along the nice beach promenade are closed at this time of the yr. and the center of Gandía is about 7 km away.
