NEWLY BUILT COLONIAL STYLE VILLA WITH SEA VIEWS

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Ginger Lilies with two other couples. Everything about the villa was perfect.. It is spacious, airy , well- maintained , very comfortable and looks just like the photographs. There is a lovely pool area and great views from the balconies to the sea beyond.
The villa is maintained by the charming Mr James and his wife Gloria. They are available for advice on local restaurants or anything else that needs some local knowledge.
Tobago is a beautiful, unspoilt island with many wonderful beaches. Hiring a car is the best way to enjoy the island. There is a lovely beach only a ten minute drive away.
We had several delicious barbecues on the terrace with fresh local fish bought from local fishermen ( Mr James to advise). A perfect way to end a busy day exploring the island.
We all had a fantastic holiday and would love to return one day. We will be recommending Ginger Lilies to our family and friends.

We, 2 couples, stayed here for 7 nights, and loved the beautiful home. It is very well maintained, lovely pool out back, and with a nicely landscaped yard.

The kitchen is very well equipped, although there are no condiments, sugar or anything so you would need to buy these when getting groceries. There is a grocery store in walking distance for pretty much everything.

The beds are good with mosquito netting around the king bed, but not around the queen. There were no issues with hot water, and everything was sparkling clean, thanks to Gloria, the housekeeper.

You do need a car if you are staying here, unless you plan on eating in, and just staying at the pool...or you could have Mr. James take you where you want to go. There are no restaurants in walking distance from the villa, but we did find several good ones fairly close that we drove to. Mr. James arranged for our car rental.

Anea, the owner, answered my emails very quickly, and was great to communicate with, and make suggestions of where to go, and what to do.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ginger Lilies...it is wonderful !!

Paradise discovered! Wonderful setting, private pool, lush gardens, quiet neighbourhood with the sound of the Tobago Cocrico on a morning, breath-taking view of Buccoo, all the modern amenities and comforts that you can wish for in a vacation home! The photos on the website are accurate and the house was well maintained and clean. I would recommend Ginger Lilies without reservation! Congratulations to the owners and the caretaker!
