Marcelin's on Napoleon is a beautiful home located in the heart of the exciting Uptown area of New Orleans. This home sits directly on the carnaval route allowing you to take full advantage of all the fun and festivities.

You will absolutely love being in the middle of everything, we are less than 10 minutes to the French Quarters, Super Dome, Jazz Fest, Famous Tipitina's, St. Charles and Magazine Street.

Fantastic dining is what New Orleans is famous for and you won’t have to travel far to eat all the crawfish, gumbo, and jambalaya your belly can handle.

If you love to shop you will be minutes to some of the best shopping New Orleans has to offer. The drug store and hospital are in walking distance.

After exploring all New Orleans has to offer you can retreat to this beautiful relaxing home. Enter from the beautiful staircase that leads to an outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

This home has Hardwood flooring throughout. Formal Living and Dining Room combination with a den to sit back and enjoy your family and friends. We have a fully equipped kitchen if you want to have your own country boil. There is a wash room with Full size washer and dryer. Nicely lit walk pad that leads to a large backyard.

Directly in front of the property on Napoleon Avenue you can you can enjoy a beautiful walk or jog on the on the one mile walk pad neutral grounds featuring huge traditional Oak Trees allowing you to the experience the real New Orleans. In the evening the Neutral Grounds are well lit for the night owls

Fantastic House

We rented Marcelin's house for my wife's 30th and had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and sleeps 6 comfortably, but can fit 8-10. It has an open layout, large dining room, plenty of room for parking and an awesome porch to hang out on. Very clean and secure, I'd recommend this place to anyone planning a trip with friends or family. We'll definitely be back next visit!

The host Marcelin was very friendly and we had no problems with the house at all. Great place to stay, good amenities, and interesting layout. The only problem is that you have to cab or drive, there isn't much that's walking distance. Otherwise we had a great time and I would highly recommend this house to friends.

Beautiful home and perfect for our stay! I would definitely recommend this property. We had 5 adults and 3 children and everyone was comfortable in the home. Marcelin was very easy to work with and provided everything we needed for our stay.

The best stay we could have had

My friends and I rented this house for a couple nights to celebrate our last holiday before graduating. The house was perfect for eight guys and slept us all comfortably. We had more than enough room to relax, eat and hang out. The porch was a great bonus on nice evenings. The property is also located conveniently for taking cabs all over New Orleans and had off street parking for our two cars.

If you don't rent this house you are missing out! We couldn't have asked for more and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is our second time staying at Marceline's guest house for Mardi Gras. The accomodations are very nice, clean, and modern with a mix of New Orleans southern decor! She has taken our comments from last year and incorporate them so that there is an additional room for sleeping. This house is great for family or friends planning a trip and wanting to house share rather than hotel. You can easily get to downtown/FQ or other neighborhoods using your own transportation or the bus line runs on Napoleon. The drive way parking is lighted and enough for 4 cars. Eight persons (2 per room) will be comfortable in their own room but if someone wants to use a front room couch they are comfy too. Marceline is a pleasiure to work with and quickly responds to any calls. We will definetly be back for our other stays in the Big Easy.
