Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Futon bed, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-5)

Nestled in the woods, this charming vacation cabin is less than 2 miles from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park.

A comfortable place to kick up your feet, you’ll enjoy the warmth of this cabin-style home with wide-plank pine wood floors, and walls constructed with 100-year-old logs. The home offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, washer and dryer, WiFi, and living room with comfortable seating and a vast collection of books on hiking, wildflowers, and historical/special points of interest in Glacier Park. You'll also enjoy the pleasant views of the park’s peaks from the screened-in front porch, the five acres of wooded grounds to explore, and frequent sightings of elk, deer and other wildlife.

There are two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite, located upstairs, has a queen bed, full bath, and a private deck in which to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The second bedroom on the main floor has a full size bed, and a queen-size futon couch is located in the living room.

Excellent Vacation Home!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a fantastic time here. The location was very convenient to activities, restaurants and shops. The house was beautiful, cozy and very accommodating, with a lot of space, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, comfortable beds and an incredible library of books about Glacier Park. We spent most of our mornings and evenings hanging out in the beautiful, large screened-in front porch, which was a real treat.

The property manager and owner were very friendly, easy to work with and extremely helpful with helping us plan our trip. I would highly recommend this home for a stay in Glacier Park!

Wonderful Experience

  • 5 of 5

We would highly recommend this "wonderful cabin in the woods". It perfectly fit four adults(2 couples) and had all the amenities we could have wanted or needed for our week trip to Glacier. The cabin was very clean and the owner obviously has put a lot of time and energy into creating a fantastic getaway. The cabin was only minutes from the entrance of GNP but sitting on the enclosed front porch, we felt like we were completely secluded from the rest of the world. We saw deer, elk and a fox just having drinks on the porch(Ha, not at the same time). There is an extensive library covering plants, animals and trails through GNP. The owner even sent out ideas for our trip that we found to be very helpful.

If you are looking for a place to stay in West Glacier, this would be the place. We will absolutely be returning next year!

Excellant Name, so convenient to the West Side of GNP

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to stay if you are on the west side of GNP. Cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, convenient and easy to get to. Description of the cabin was perfect and would stay again if we return, and highly recommend to any visitor. Owner was extremely helpful in providing a list of suggestions of places to eat, hikes, places to visit nearby and wildlife. Wifi and phone service were undependable, probably due to the mountains. Sorry we had to leave!

Comfortable, well appointed cabin perfect for exploring West Glacier

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 stayed at the cabin for 3 nights. We found it to be extremely well appointed, clean and quite comfortable. There were maps and guidebooks, and the beds were very comfortable too. Despite hot temps while we visited, the cabin stayed cool during the day, and was comfortably warm at night. All of us enjoyed coming "home" to this cabin after each of our day hikes in West Glacier. The information provided by the owner was especially useful as we planned our days. Everything at the cabin was as expected and more. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. Unfortunately the train track is nearby, and this would not be a problem except that there must be a crossing also nearby so the whistle blows at regular intervals throughout the night. We got used to it by the 3rd night. If we were to visit Glacier again, we would certainly consider staying at this "Wonderful Cabin".

Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This cabin in the woods was the perfect locale for our family getaway. It was well- appointed, clean and provided all the charm and cozy amenities you would expect. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there.

Conveniently situated in West Glacer near lots of options for sightseeing, adventure or relaxing by McDonald lake, I was surprised by how short a drive it was to whatever kind of day we chose to have.

The owner has thoughtfully provided brochures, maps and books of the surrounding area so we were well-equipped with information and ideas for each day's outing, or with plenty of reading material for staying in.

The photos don't do this property justice - it is utterly charming and I fell in love with the screened-in porch where I could watch the hummingbirds and listen to the quiet woods.

I would definitely reccomend this property for anyone looking for a Montana getaway. I can' wait to stay there again!
