Stroll through our rhododendrun grove, perennial and rose gardens, or pick from our organic herb garden to enhance your cooking. Surrounded by native Bishop Pine and Oak trees, we are on a private road with a trailhead just steps away from your door. Conveniently located a HALF MILE FROM TOMALES BAY AND FOUR MILES FROM THE PACIFIC OCEAN, it's just you and nature. Hike to nearby Shell Beach, Hearts Desire Beach or Chicken Ranch Beach. Discover hiking trails known only to locals. You don’t even need to get in your car.

At Sea Ridge House you will enjoy the splendor of our natural setting combined with exquisitely designed landscaping. We specialize in offering you extreme comfort in a homey unpretentious manner.

A large sunny sheltered deck and a separate flagstone patio overlook 2 koi ponds with a serene waterfall. A cozy fire pit on the flagstone patio is perfect for evening fires and smores.

Sea Ridge House: 3+BR/4BA

The master bedroom has a king-size bed.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and an alcove with a daybed with a trundle underneath.

The third bedroom has a queen sofabed with a custom made 5" mattress and two daybeds.

Special features at Sea Ridge House include a fireplace and balcony in the master suite as well as a jetted tub for 2 and bidet. The second floor master bedroom faces west for dramatic evening skies. There are spectacular views from all rooms. Each of the three bedrooms has its designated bathroom with shower. The galley kitchen is fully equipped with granite counters, a dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, double coffee maker, a kitchenaide, cuisinart, milk steamer, and waffle maker etc. The living room, with its own dining area, has a wood burning stove/fireplace. From the eat-out balcony you can see both Tomales Bay and the Pacific Ocean. All rooms have high vaulted ceilings. The house features custom lighting and art from local artists, family board games, and field guides to local flora and fauna. There is a porta-crib and a highchair for the littlest ones. This is the perfect place for a family retreat or a romantic getaway.

Sea Ridge was a magical place, a wonderful long weekend. The grounds are exquisite. The kids loved running around and the adults loved the beautiful views and the area. The kitchen was fully stocked as promise. It was comfortable, quiet, peaceful and had so many things to offer, we didn't want to leave after 5 nights. I could spend another month just wandering the area and seeing more. The sunsets were always breathtaking. I would recommend to anyone. We can't wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in your SeaRidge home. Your home had everything to make our time there comfortable and the silence was golden, as the saying goes. We loved the well furnished kitchen which made cooking fun and easy.

The garden areas are so beautiful, perfect for our outside lounging. It was like having our own private park.

Look forward to returning soon.

rustic retreat in the midst of nature

We rented this lovely place to host family for a long-awaited reunion. The house is very spacious, and together with the cottage, makes for a very comfortable stay. The grounds are beautifully tended to and it's especially pleasant to walk around the property. The proximity to a trail leading down to a beach is wonderful and we spent much time walking in the woods. The bedrooms were comfortable and the baths more than sufficed. The layout of the house was tough for one of the guests who had some trouble climbing stairs. It was necessary to climb stairs in order to access the living areas and the kitchen from the ground floor. So this is something to bear in mind for those thinking of renting here. The house was clean and ready when we moved in. There were minor things that needed to be replenished, like dish soap, but it was easily and quickly addressed by the house manager. One note is that the kitchen cabinets could use a good cleaning as there were some minor frights that could have been prevented through cleaning. The cottage itself was cozy as can be and very rustic. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

A wonderful place to stay for Point Reyes

This is a wonderful place to stay for anyone who wants to see Point Reyes National Seashore. The house is lovely and well maintained with a garden large and interesting enough to keep children (and adults) entertained between forays into the larger world.
The kitchen is excellent, the house is very well thought out and the location is perfect. We had a lovely walk down to Shell Beach from the house, during which the children sustained themselves by picking wild huckleberries, which also turned out to be abundant on the grounds. We were also short drives from Drakes Beach, Point Reyes Station, Bear Valley Visitor Center and Samuel P Taylor State Park.
This is the most comfortable and idyllic of the places I have stayed near Point Reyes, recommended without reservation.

Homey Christmas setting for our whole family

We spent Christmas at Sea Ridge House. It was perfect for the 6 of us (all adults)- cozy and homey, completely private, sitting high above the bay and nestled at the top of a very quiet, wooded neighborhood. Hiking trail a hundred yards down the road takes you all the way down to the isolated beaches on Tomales. Great little galley kitchen with useful pots and pans and things. Yard is fun to explore, and the fire pit is awesome. Only thing I'd caution is that the "third bedroom" is really a kind of converted rec room with a pull-out sofa and a kind of in-law kitchenette, and it uses a utility bathroom in the hallway. Very comfortable and worked for us, but worth mentioning. It'd be a good room for a couple with little kids, etc.
