|Minimum Stay||5 nights|
Exceptionally nice & spacious 1-bedroom apartment for 2, sleeps up to 3.
It has an unusually big bedroom and spacious living room with traditional stone walls. The rooms are very light with exceptionally high ceilings. Looking out of the large windows you have a sea view plus a view to romantic old town and harbor. We promise you will have the most beautiful sunset view on the Croatian cost.
The apartment is only 10 minutes walking distance, to the beautiful Lone Bay beach.
Rovinj has many good restaurants and cafes, and if you want to self-cater, food store and an open fruit and vegetable market are just around the corner from the apartment.
We are now safely (and sadly) back from Rovinj, having had a great two week stay.
We loved Rovinj and the surrounding area and thought that your apartment was lovely, we were very comfortable there - I think that we must have very similar tastes in furnishings/pictures. Thank you for sharing it with us, we hope to return in the not too distant future.
We really enjoyed our stay in Rovinj. The weather was exeptionally nice the whole week, which made it possible to go sunbathing and swimming. This is not quite common for a Norwegian in May, you know, so that was lovely. We rented a car for a day and saw a bit of the Istrian pensinsula (Motovon!), very nice. We also rented a bike for three days just to get around in the Rovinj area, very practical. One day was spent in Venice (boat-trip from Porec), an interesting but short visit to an exeptional city - and expensive!
We very much liked your apartment, the size and location and how it was equipped suited us perfectly. One negative thing, though, we didn't get the AC to function properly.
Our very best memory from Rovinj I think must be the dinner during the sunset at restaurant Puntanini. I don't think we have visited a restaurant with a better location. Together with good food and good local Croatian white wine (Grotha and Radovan!), this was just amazing!
Our stay in Rovinj calls for a repetition!
Many thanks and best regards
Wenche and Bjørn.
We absolutely loved our stay in this airy comfortable apartment for many reasons. Firstly we had been in a lovely apartment right in the old town and while it was very "designer" the stairs inside the apartment and the old town approach were always going to be difficult for us. Even though this apartment is on the first floor the stairs are very easy to negotiate as is the walk to it - none of those treacherous (although beautiful) marble cobble streets. Secondly the place was just so user friendly. The air con was marvellous, the beds were comfortable, the living area was soooo big. Plus there was everything you could need in the kitchen (dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave etc) and if I had any problems working anything a quick email to the owner via the excellent free wifi and she sorted it out for me. All for such a reasonable price too. Thank you Tamara and Nina for helping us out so much. There are some lovely restaurants right on your doorstep and the walk to Lone beach and the more upmarket hotels and the national park are also minutes away. Oh and I also loved the pulley washing line outside the bedroom window. Yes I did drop my knickers and towel onto underneaths garden but they were hanging politely on my door handle by the next morning. Ha ha. :)
We had a great fortnight in Rovinj.
The apartment is just as shown, spotlessly clean, well equipped and lots of space for 2 adults.
It is situated in a quiet area but very convenient for the marina and town centre and there is a well stocked supermarket and bakery within a 5 minute walk.
Tamara was very helpful and always responded very promptly to any queries we had before departure.
We had hired a car for the fortnight, but hardly used it, preferring to walk or cycle along the coastal path or walk into town where we spent hours meandering around the old streets and sitting at pavement cafes and restaurants.
There are also many boat trips on offer for a change of scenery.
We will certainly return.
Many thanks Tamara and Ervin for sharing your lovely apartment

We spend a week in this lovely apartment. It looks exactly like on the pictures shown and I was surprised how spacious and clean it is. Two people have more than enough space. You have everything you need - we also cooked a few times.
The apartment is very close to the promenade, supermarket and bakery are around the corner.
We spend the sunset at the rocks underneath the church, very nice! Went to the market, through the narrow alleys of this cute historic city center and out for dinner.
You should have a car to reach the beach within a few minutes. We went every day to another part of the coast, and I enjoyed all of them. I can also recommend the boat tour to close small islands, offered at the harbour. They are not expensive and the landscape there is impressive. The water is so blue and clear, really nice. Don't forget your diving goggles, it's worth it ;)
Thanks again Tamara
We love your apartment very much, it's really lovely, tastefully furnished, and very well equipped in the best location in Rovinj.
The apartment was lovely, even better than it looks in the pictures. It was conveniently located just at the edge of the harbour which is just 5 minutes walk from the old town.
The supermarket was really handy just up the road and parking our rental car was pretty simple on any of the roads marked P around that area. In fact the car rental is about 2 minutes walk from the house!
Many people don't rent cars but it is something we would strongly recommend for the more adventurous. There are lots of beautiful villages to explore in Istria and the coastline outside of Rovinj is a much quieter sunbathing spot.
Just remember to bring your own towels! There are non in the apartment and we had to rush out and buy beach towels for our stay!
But overall we would definitely recommend this place and its owner, the lovely Tamara!
Rovinj - Lovely, Fashionable ‘Venetian’ Harbour Town
The most picturesque resort on the Croatian-Istrian Riviera offering peaceful, scenic views all around with a backdrop of pine-clad slopes overlooking the delightful harbour.
The medieval town is much favoured by artists. The colourful houses which cluster the harbour side are reflected in the
Adriatic’s beautiful blue water and the Campanile of St. Euphemia dominates the skyline.
The rambling streets of the Istrian quarter are filled with many shops, galleries, ‘al fresco’ cafés and tavernas, whilst the open-air market offers freshly grown local produce as well as knick-knacks and souvenirs.
Rovinj has a special romantic atmosphere and the hustle and bustle of an Adriatic harbour town. Rovinj is also a great base from which to visit the many attractions of the Istrian peninsula as well as to visit Venice which is less than two and a half hours boat ride.
