Enjoy 270 degrees of ocean views from all the main living areas. Large spacious rooms, and up to 15 foot ceilings are sure to impress. The front terraces looks out to the beautiful Sea of Cortez, and the back boasts mountain, and desert views, with a variety of cactae, beautiful sunsets are guaranteed!
The weather at Las Sirenas is Sun, Sun, Sun! Temperatures from mid-October to mid May run 65-85 Fahrenheit or 18-29 degrees Celsius. Summers can reach into the 100’s, with 90’s (33-39 Celsius) being very common. San Felipe averages 1-2 inches of rain per year. (5 cm).
The temperatures can vary 10 to 15 degrees depending on the location. At Casa Las Sirenas, the summertime temperature on our terraces, are consistently day, and night 10 degrees below that shown on the weather for San Felipe! We are extremely fortunate in this matter, because the South Eastern winds blow continuously which act as a natural air conditioner specially when all eight, six foot wide doors are open around the house, and in plain summer (July, August and September) makes it very comfortable.
Details for Casa Las Sirenas in San Felipe, Baja California:
Las Sirenas is located on a quite large 1 1/2 acres (6000 m2) beach front lot on the road to the town of Puertecitos. Just a 30 minute drive South of San Felipe. (Kilometer 38) or (Mile 23) An interesting land-based feature around our area is, in this very small, uninteresting, dusty, holywoodesque Town of Puertecitos, the volcanic sub-aquatic hot springs that flows right on to the rocky beach, thus creating natural hot pools that are so good for you general health and your skin.
The region is also home to the world's largest cactus, the giant cardoon, or Saguaro, on the Valle de los Gigantes (Valley of Giants) very close to Las Sirenas only 20 minute drive heading to San Felipe.
The coastline boasts large stretches of white sandy beaches along with rocky coves that are sure to tempt the wandering beachcomber. One thing is for sure, there is a special magic that exists in this section of Baja that consistently enchants visitors, many whom never suspect they might eventually fall under her spell. (Just like it happened to the actual owners, 20 years a go.)

Roy and Jeannette, you are the most personable hosts! Thank you for your hospitality.
We saw Las Sirenas as a jewel of luxury, that sits on the Sea of Cortez, in the midst of a desert.
Our stay in your lovely Casa was beyond our expectations.
Just to experience the beauty, tranquility and pure joy of watching the sun rise each morning was incredible.
We so enjoyed walking the endless beaches, watching the bird populations and a few local fishermen getting their catch of clams and fish.
Robert particularly enjoyed kayaking on the Sea of Cortez, right in front of the casa!
Your home is beautiful, accommodating our every need and more. Our week was unforgettably wonderful!
Next year though, we will do all our grocery shopping at the new Calamax mercado, in San Felipe.
It carries everything we could need. Most importantly, the produce and meats available were all fresh and well displayed.
Again, thank you for opening your home to us and for kindness and assistance.
Our stay at Casa Las Sirenas was an experience of a lifetime.
We look forward to returning next year.
Robert & Christine
If you are considering this property, you are on the right track. My Husband and I stayed here for his 44th birthday, we wanted to stay right on the beach, and be away from crowds.
We literally had miles and miles of beach to ourselves, I think I saw maybe 5 people total on the beach during our weeklong stay.
The water was warm and the beach access from the house is great, walk about 10 steps out the front door and you are on the beach.
We also brought our enduro motorcycles and had a great time riding around, down to Puerticitos (hotsprings were too hot to get in) and up to San Felipe and the Valley of Giants (Huge Cacti).
This place is about 20- 30 minutes South of San Felipe, which has pretty much everything you could need. We went into town for Lunch and ate at Baja Mar, which was great. We also rode up to the tiny town of Delicious which had a fun little restaurant with good Margaritas, if you blink you might miss it, but worth the 1 minute drive when you don't want to head back into town.
One of the great things about this location is the fishing boats access the water near the house and you can watch them enter and exit the water, which is impressive. This only added to the view, and was not a bother at all.
The owners are fantastic! They live next door but they don't bother you at all and are a wealth of knowledge about the area. I was glad they were near by since we had never been to the area before and wanted to be sure to hit all the good spots.
The house is cool, its an octagon with an open floor plan and great views of the ocean. There is TV in case you get sunburned and need to hit the shade for a while. The Bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is huge.
We spent a lot of time outside under the shade gazebo, critical for folks like me that burn easy. There a lots of places to sit out on the patio.
That is basically it, if you are looking for your own beach front vacation for a great price with all the comforts of home, then you are going to be happy with this place.
We would stay again and would recommend it to our friends.
We've just returned from a wonderful weekend at Casa Las Sirenas, our first visit to the Sea of Cortez side of Baja. We both endorse every single positive comment about the house and Roy and Jeanette, the owners. Beautiful house (if anything, the photos don't do it justice); beautiful owners. This wasn't really a surprise after reading the unanimous 5 Star reviews. But the deeply relaxing quality of the silence and the stunning canopy of stars at night were delightful extras. Roy and Jeanette went out of their way to acquaint us with the nearby beaches and even helped us out when we discovered we hadn't packed everything we needed. The San Felipe area is as different from the Ensenada-Rosarito-Tijuana corridor as you can get, and that suited us just fine. Definitely a coast and a house to visit again. Thanks Roy and Jeanette!
My husband and I had a very relaxing and peaceful vacation at Casa Las Sirenas. Roy and Jeannette were lovely people and wonderful hosts. The views were breathtaking from every window and even better from the giant front patio. We spent many hours walking up and down the beach and looking for seashells during low tide. We saw about 3 people the whole time we were there. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped for all of our culinary needs. I have stayed at many rentals so the little touches here stood out - drinking water provided, soaps, shampoos & conditioner. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows, etc. Roy even offered us his own beer upon arrival. We look forward to returning for some more R&R with a good book and some binoculars. Although it was just my husband and me, it would be a great place to bring friends and family.
Roy and Jeannette were gracious hosts and we very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Las Sirenas. We particularly enjoyed the well equipped kitchen which meant that cooking and eating in was fun and easy. We are looking forward to a return stay sometime in the future.
Casa Las Sirenas is the perfect vacation destination ! Roy and Jeannette are the perfect hosts. This was our second time in Paradise and we are already making plans to return.
The Villa is not only an excellent bargain but is in a remote beautiful area, we are naturists and Jeannette and Roy were very accommodating in allowing us to use the Villa as our private naturist resort , most of the days we were able to roam the beaches and tide pools nude only covering up when the local fisherman came in, it made our stay so relaxing.
They have recently purchased kayaks and we were able to paddle the sea of Cortez watching the wildlife, they are also considering having a beach buggy available so be sure to ask.
Overall we love the property and look forward to returning many more times !
What can I say? My daughter and I loved our stay at your beach front home. Exceeded our expectations. Clean, spacious, cool, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, better tv package than I have at home, Internet worked well, love that you are " off the grid" and power was solar. Very private yet you were MORE than accommodating especially helping us work with local mechanics when our vehicle was in need of repair, above and beyond! Casa Las Siernas is the perfect name. The home is very private and secure. We were literally the only ones on the beach most of the time with exception of the local fishing family resetting their nets daily. No need to close any of the many doors to let the breezes blow through day or night. We are so happy we had the chance to meet you both and enjoy your special piece of the Baja. Thanks for everything! I hope to return someday and share this experience with the rest of the clan!
