4 Bed room restored period house with original medieval features. Granite floor in main entrance with original period stairs. Spacious living room with open fireplace and timber floor. Modern kitchen but with original oak beams and exposed stone wall showing medieval history. Underfloor heating run on geothermal source make this suitable for all year rental. 1st floor has 2 double bed rooms and a 1 large twin room. 2nd floor has large open plan bed room with 2 double beds 3 toilets, bathroom and large shower room. Beautiful mix of modern classic good looks with rustic charm.

Kilmore Quay has an annual sea food festival in July and good sea food restaurants all year round. Wexford town is nearby for shopping and historic walks through the medieval town centre. Wexford Opera Festival runs for 1 week in October. Links golf courses within 30 min drive and horse riding centres for treking on local beaches. Coastal walk along the nature reserve set in the sand dunes above the nearby beach. The burrows boasts plant and animal life in abundance. Good area for walking cycling and hiking. Good shore angling and sea angling can be aranged locally. Diving school and sailing school in Kilmore Quay.

Ideally located close to Rosslare Harbour and easy reach of Dublin. The house is well equiped and comfortable. The tennis court superb. Its rural location was perfect for a relaxing stress free holiday. We were there for a week and had plenty to do and see. The owners gave us a folder detailing the history of the house and its surrounds which we all found extremely interesting. The house is surrounded by agricultural land and working farms and the locals are extremely friendly. The small but beautiful Kilmore Quay is just 5 minutes away and has quality restaurants and pubs serving locally caught fish. For anyone seeking to chill out and benefit from the relaxed pace of Irish life then Richfield House is perfect.
