Explore the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains from this spot and return to a very special place.
What makes this cottage unique
Our cottage is situated close to the Greeter's Cottage (entrance) and just down the road (a few minute walk) from the Mill Pond with stocked trout ponds, streams, hiking trails, large covered pavilion with a huge fireplace (wood provided), bathrooms and a nice living room with fully equipped kitchen. A great gathering place for meals or just drinks.

My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday on Bear Lake Reserve! What a wonderful gem that we have discovered and I know we will come back year after year. The Mill Pond House, where we stayed, was very cozy and had all the amenities of home and more! We loved sitting by the porch fireplace drinking wine, playing board games and listening to music ( wonderful Bose speaker provided) while in your home! I can't even begin to tell you how much fun we had exploring the Bear Lake grounds! We hiked, fished, kayaked and packed picnics that we enjoyed daily by one of the many outdoor fire pits along the way. I can't say enough about how much we loved this beautiful part of the world! This was definitely the most fun and relaxing Thanksgiving we have all had in a long time! Can't wait to come visit this summer and enjoy the many water activities and that POOL! Thank you for opening your vacation home to us! We will be back soon!
