MARBELLA OCEAN VIEW 3 BEDROOM

We stayed at this condo 7 nights.
Franklin met us at the Marvella complex and was very attentive and helpful in getting us situated.
The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. The bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful and well appointed. It was very enjoyable to have the use of these new spaces. In addition, the towels provided were wonderfully plush towels. The only things missing in the bathrooms were a soap dish for the shower, (we had to put the soap on the floor while we showered), some hooks to hang bath towels before and after use, and a toilet paper dispenser. These are small details that should be corrected but did not diminish our enjoyment of the spaces.
The kitchen as well is modernized and well appointed. We did our food shopping nearby in a supermarket called “Pueblo”. Our family (between 7 and 9 persons) wanted to enjoy our meals in the apartment often. We were able to do so very comfortably.
The kitchen is equipped with new washer and dryer and they were great to have. We washed towels often, especially the great beach towels provided.
The condo had four beach chairs which we used. There were chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for rental at the beach. We rented a beach umbrella for ten dollars each day. The beach in front of Marvella is beautiful. Some days it was calm and some days it was rougher but we enjoyed both.
The apartment is marketed as sleeping six comfortably and this is true. We rented a one-bedroom apartment from Franklin in the same complex to accommodate two adult children in our group.
The beds were comfortable but the mattresses are covered with plastic and this made sleeping a little uncomfortable. A thick mattress pad would improve the problem. Also, in the third bedroom, the beds are extra long but the sheets are regular and did not fit the beds well.
The air-conditioning in the apartment worked well and we had it on at night. This apartment is on the 17th floor and has an awesome unimpeded ocean view visible from the entire living area, including the kitchen. The picture on HomeAway does not do it justice. During the day, we kept our windows and sliding door open to enjoy ocean sounds and breeze. There is a nightclub across the street and it was noisy one night, Friday.
The internet was available in the apartment but was spotty and very slow.
The televisions with cable and sound systems worked very well.
Over all, I recommend this condo highly. We would come back for another stay again!
