Apartment very well located a block and a half from the beach / Flamengo Park where you can enjoy hiking, sports and where you can have one of the most beautiful views of the Sugar Loaf. On Sundays and holidays the area is closed to cars allowing go biking (rentals available on site).
Transportation super easy: the subway station (to the north and south of the city) is 50 meters in Catete Street (2 minutes walk) where there are also several bus lines to downtown (where it arrives in less than 10 minutes) and the northern city
In Largo do Machado (5 minutes walk) there vaárias bus lines to the south (Copacabana is 15 minutes).
The trendy Lapa and Santa Teresa are 10 minutes and can be reached on foot or by public transportation.
One of the most beautiful attractions of Rio, Christ the Redeemer, is 10 minutes by bus (picks up in Largo do Machado)
Sugar Loaf is 15 minutes (the bus picks up at Flamengo Beach)
At the Presidential Palace which houses the Museum of the Republic (is a 2 minute walk from the apartment) for cinema, theater and a beautiful garden open to the public every day.
The trade is very varied, supermarkets, pharmacies, grocery, health food stores, restaurants kilo, department stores and even two shopping centers, one with Cinema St. Louis with 4 rooms and 3D projections.
In Gallery Condor in Largo do Machado's Rotisseria the Lebanese Syrian Arab that has excellent food.
In Rua Barao do Flamengo Tacacá you can go to the North which serves North and one of the best açaís Rio
In Largo do Machado happens on some Sundays a craft fair, there is also a Catholic church.
