Newly remodeled five bedroom beach house located in Monarch Beach's first ocean front, private gate guarded community - The Niguel Shores. This property is located on the West side of Pacific Coast Highway, just a five minute short stroll down to the private steps accessing Strands and Salt Creek Beaches. This beach is home to the Ritz Carlton and the longest and most pristine white sand beach in the Laguna-Monarch Beach Area. This house has recently been fully remodeled with updated kitchen and baths. Luxurious all teak furnishings make the the outdoor living areas plush and enjoyable throughout the day. This is a very sunny and bright home that's perfect for large family entertaining. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and bath along with a relaxing media room. This set up is perfect for families with children or several couples wanting to enjoy a get away. Downstairs there's an open fireplace and great room. The downstairs family room, formal dining room, fireplace, formal open dining room and chef's kitchen are all connected in this lovely modernized floor plan. The master bedroom is situated downstairs, with a view onto the back tropical jungle landscaping. The mater suite also has access to an enjoyable and private enclosed outdoor tropical shower - located just outside the master bath. Upstairs, the four additional guestrooms are located upstairs with pocket ocean views out to Catalina - all connected by a well appointed plasma/DirectTV media room with two comfortable couches. High speed wireless internet accessed throughout the home. Two blocks from Strands beach and private Niguel Shores beach park.
From the gate guarded community's private beach park you can dine on the ocean bluff and enjoy spectacular Catalina sunset views, smashing surf, San Clemente Island and coastline views all the way to Palos Verdes. The ocean front community of Niguel Shores includes a 24 hour gated attendant, with access to a wonderful new $3 million dollar clubhouse with pool, spa, sauna, four tennis courts, racquetball courts, plus an ocean front bluff top park. Niguel Shores is located directly next door to the Ritz Carlton Hotel and is next door to The Links Golf Course and The St. Regis Hotel. The home is an easy 30 minutes drive from John Wayne International Airport (SNA). The fees include full access to the clubhouse in the Shores as well as a Ritz card which provides for free valet parking next door and 20% all dining, spa and other purchases.
This is the cherished home I grew up in as a young boy. I purchased it recently from my parents and have commenced to remodel it with pride and joy. The private Shores commmunity was chosen by my parents to raise me and my 3 siblings due to the safe private beach and gate guarded community with private clubhouse. For families with children - this is the ultimate vacation destination along the coast. I'm a UCLA All-American Swimmer and continue to do lots of off shore swimming here on the Strands beach. The water is fantastic for surfing, diving and stand up paddle boarding. I'm into sailing - the nearby Dana Point Marina (30 minute coastal walk south) is a great plance to visit the Ocean Institute or take whale watching tours. The village of Laguna - which we spend 2-3 nights a week dining out - is just a 10 minute drive to the North. The Ritz Carlton and St REgis resorts are directly adjacent to our community. Breakfast or sunset at the Ritz looking out along the coast is one of the all time best ocean views I've seen anywhere. I was a composition major at UCLA - so my Steinway at the house is important to me and I'm happy to share it with visiting guests who love playing the piano in a magical environment. For musicians staying - there's nothing mor enjoyable than gathering around the fireplace at night and enjoying some time at the piano.

Beautiful location, safe and ideal for families with small children. Walking distance to the beach and pool. Since we had a big family, we dined in the house most of the time. The house is elegantly decorated, spacious with enough amenities. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms needed some fixing and reburshing. Need brighter lights in master bedroom bathroom sink. Owners are very accomodating however communication needed improvement.
We were greeted with music, candles and an amazing gift basket. I felt like I was a welcome guest instead of a renter. If you want a charming, relaxing home to stay in this is the place. If you like the pictures of this home you won't be disappointed. We were drawn to the unusual decor and surprised with so much more. The lovely wrap around outside living area is amazing. With the perfect weather leaving the sliders open it becomes part of your living space. The out door shower was a heavenly experience, literally, I loved looking at the sky while washing my hair. We have been renting beach houses for years and never have the owners been so generous with the necessary supplies that make your stay easier. We found everything we needed and more. This house has lots of comfy beds, tons of soft pillows, great basket of beach towels, etc. I could go on and on but I will end this saying WOW. If you don't try this house you will miss a great experience.
This place was awesome. Great sound system and a piano! The beach was amazing and close to everything. Parking was great and security made us feel safe and secure. Fun décor! Love the giant Octopus painting! Mark and Richard the owners were so kind and helpful answering all my questions. I want to buy this place!
We rented the house for our Christmas 2012 Family Re-Union Vacation and it was perfect. The Location was great. A walk to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants close by and 35 minute drive to Disney and Legoland. The house is beautiful and the owner made a special effort to decorate and accomodate our 3 families. Everything was as advertised and we had absolutely no issues. Will rent again if available for future vacations.
We stayed at this house with a few close friends from LA. This home is so warm, welcoming and comfortable. We all had an amazing time cooking in a fully equipped kitchen(newly remodeled and just fantastic) and enjoyed the beach thats right by the house. This is a very safe and great location. I would highly recommend to everyone. The owners are very gracious.
My wife and I had been looking for the kind of beach community we enjoyed up in Stinson beach in NorCal and found a great Southern California version at this cozy get-away that gives access to the most beautiful beach I have seen in Southern California. Not only that but the community of people you find on the beach is unbelievable (healthy kids fun parents and great vibe)... And as if that wasn't enough, you also get world class surfing a pleasant and short walk away! You can't beat this at any price and especially at this price... We loved it!!!
